Ashley Oñoz-Wright

Born a Buckeye – raised a Hoosier. I grew up in a one-horse town that straddles the Indiana/Ohio state line and until 2006, was in two different time zones. There were three stoplights and a whopping 48 students in my graduating class. Fast forward a few years later, I was bitten by the travel bug and decided to head west and I landed in Las Vegas. It seems like no matter how long I live here, there’s always something that still makes my jaw drop. That’s what I love about Vegas; you never know what you’re going to see next and that’s what makes living here so much fun. Basically, if you’re bored in this town, there’s something wrong with you…not the city. I’m an avid traveler with an incurable case of wanderlust so stay tuned for all the tours, attractions and shopping adventures that Sin City has to offer.

It gets cold in Northern Nevada. Like, Leo in “The Revenant,” type of cold. Maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, but after spending the majority of my life up north, I was ready to kick the crappy weather to the curb and start working on my year-round tan. Initially, my desire to move to Las Vegas solely revolved around the weather, and that’s it. Little did I know what this city truly had to offer. Where else can you pop into a grocery store at 3 a.m. and see a showgirl buying almond milk and kale, or hit the local dry cleaners to catch a Cirque performer dropping off their costume? This town is 24/7 excitement, and I haven’t even mentioned gettin’ down at the hottest nightclub or the questionable decisions you make at sketchy downtown dive bars. Adventure in abundance is why I love Vegas. And it’s usually available where you least expect it.

I’m sexy, I’m cute, I’m popular to boot…oh wait, this isn’t the intro to Bring It On. Hi, my name is Shaun and I’m a walking ‘90s cliché. Born and raised in Vegas, I’ve seen more casino implosions than most. You could call me an O.G. Vegas native because I’ve been here longer than Celine Dion (and that’s long). The ever changing scene keeps me on my toes and I’m always looking for those hole-in-the-wall experiences most veteran visitors don’t have till their 10th trip. If this were a superhero movie, I’d be the perfect sidekick during your Vegas vacay – you brought your tights, right? Let’s conquer this city, who’s with me?
