On June 24 Rain at the Palms transforms into a retro-inspired roller skating party for Down & Derby. If it’s some bikini-shakin’ beats your after make sure to stop by Wet Republic on June 26 where special guest DJs Swedish House Mafia are spinning up some splash-worthy beats. El Segundo Sol is offering soccer fans a spot to catch all the World Cup action and enjoy some food and drink specials during every World Cup game. When it comes to entertainment visitors can laugh the night away with actor and comedian Mark Curry at Las Vegas Hilton, enjoy a night of glamour and great music with Cher at Caesars Palace or party poolside with Slightly Stoopid at Hard Rock Hotel.
Skatin’ the night away
Grab your skates and get ready for a retro-inspired roller skating party as Rain at Palms hosts Down & Derby on June 24. This dance party on wheels features décor reminiscent of a 1970s roller disco and a soundtrack by DJ Nugget and Bonics and resident skate guard DJ SHR3D. Guests are encouraged to dress in attire representative of the era. Doors open at 10 p.m.
On June 25 Ditch Fridays, the weekly pool party at Palms Pool & Bungalows, is hosting the 5th Annual Bunny Hunt where eligible candidates can interview for a position as a Playboy Bunny dealer or Bunny server. Candidates must register at www.playboybunnyhunt.com before noon on June 25 and interviews will be held from noon to 3 p.m.

Swedish House Mafia takes over Wet Republic the pool party at MGM Grand on June 26. Enjoy some sun and fun as special guests Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso spin up beats that are sure to make a splash. Doors open at 11 a.m.
To kick off Stereo Love Saturdays, former “American Idol” Contestant Katherine McPhee will be performing at Azure on June 26 at 3 p.m. In addition to her perfomance, McPhee will join guests in celebrating the launch of Belvedere Pink Grapefruit Vodka.
World Cup Loco Hour
El Segundo Sol, a Mexican restaurant located on the Las Vegas Strip at Fashion Show Mall, is giving soccer fans something extra to celebrate with Loco Hour in effect during every World Cup game through July 11. Loco Hour features various drink specials including $4.95 frozen margaritas, $2.95 draft beers, $2 24-ounce cans of Tecate designed especially for the World Cup and $3 Sauza Homitos Tequila shots during any U.S. or Mexico games. When it comes to food Loco Hour features several specials including $2.95 bottomless chips and three salsas, $2.95 fried peppers and $4.95 chicken quesadillas. At El Segundo’s Strip-side taco shack Street Taco fans will find more food specials during World Cup games including $2.12 chicken tacos, $2.23 pork tacos and $4.93 burritos.
