From vegetarian delights to latenight parties and football festivities, this weekend in Vegas has it all. If it’s a night of dancing and maybe even a glimpse of some of Hollywood’s hottest young stars your’re after, make sure to stop by Kim Kardashian’s birthday celebration at Tao and Aimme Teegarden’s 21st birthday at Tabu Ultra Lounge. Alizé is celebrating National Vegetarian Month with a special six-course tasting menu offered through the end of the month. Football fans can cheer on their favorite team while indulging in food and drink specials at Blondies Sports Bar & Grill, PBR Rock Bar & Grill and Cabo Wabo Cantina, all at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. When it comes to entertainment, headliners include everyone from legendary comedian Don Rickles to Shakira and Cher.


If you can’t get enough of her on the reality television series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” then you won’t want to miss Kim Kardashian and her birthday celebration at Tao nightclub at the Venetian on Oct. 15. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Aimme Teegarden, who stars in the NBC television series “Friday Night Lights,” celebrates her 21st birthday Oct. 16 at Tabu Ultra Lounge at MGM Grand. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Special guest DJ Rev Run spins up a night of fun for Z-Trip’s Revolution on Oct. 15 at Rain at the Palms. Doors open at 11 p.m.

On Oct. 16 Perfecto at Rain at Palms hosts special guests Cosmic Gate, DJ Dan and Zen Freeman. Doors open at 11 p.m.

Party all night long to beats by special guest DJ Marshall Barnes on Oct. 16 at Pure at Caesars Palace. Doors open at 10 p.m.

On Oct. 17 the party is at Haze at Aria where special guest Bob Sinclair spins body-shakin beats into the work week. Doors open at 10:30 p.m.


October is National Vegetarian Month and Alizé at the top of the Palms is honoring the occasion with a special six-course vegetarian tasting menu designed by Chef André Rochat. The menu features mouth-watering meat alternatives including chilled tomato gazpacho with basil ratatouille, a baked vegetable pot au feu in a crisp puff pastry shell and fall vegetables four ways featuring spice crusted tofu with Piquillo pepper purée.

The special vegetarian menu is priced at $55 per person with $5 of every vegetarian tasting menu being donated to the Nevada Cancer Institute.




When it comes to football, fans can get in the game at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood with a stop at Blondies Sports Bar & Grill, PBR Rock Bar & Grill and Cabo Wabo Cantina.

Blondies features $15 buckets of Budweiser and Bud Light beer during football season and more than 40 plasma screens to view the game. Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays PBR Rock Bar & Grill offers homemade Bloody Mary and breakfast specials for guests to enjoy while watching their team on one of more than 100 televisions. Guests can indulge in two-for-one drink specials offered all day on the outside patio. Cabo Wabo will show the biggest games Saturday – Monday on 10 high-definition, big-screen televisions. Football specials include $5 touchdown shots, $5 Buffalo chicken nachos, $5 bucket of fries, $10 buckets of chicken wings and $20 beer buckets.


Dew Tour Championships with special guest N.E.R.D. makes a stop at Hard Rock Hotel on Oct. 15 at 8:30 p.m. The tour features the best skateboard, BMX and freestyle motocross athletes in the world including Shaun White, Ryan Sheckler, Paul Rodriguez and Dave Mirra.

Anthony Cools – The Uncensored Hypnotist mesmerizes audiences with a night of good, clean, dirty fun at his 9 p.m. show Tue., Thu. – Sun. at Paris Las Vegas.

Multi-platinum-selling headliners Alice In Chains provide a night of rock ’n’ roll hits at their 8 p.m. show on Oct. 16 at Hard Rock Hotel. Special guests Deftones and Mastodon are also performing.

Award-winning showman David Foster hosts a who’s who of incredible voices including Seal, Ne-Yo, Natalie Cole, Gary Wright, Martina McBride, Charice and Donna Summer who will perform songs either written, produced or connected to the 15-time Grammy winner at his 8 p.m. show “David Foster and Friends” on Oct. 15 at Mandalay Bay.

Singer and actress Debbie Reynolds delights audiences at her 7:30 p.m. show Oct. 15 – 17 at South Point.

Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Shakira shows audiences that her “Hips Don’t Lie” at her 8 p.m. show on Oct. 16 at Mandalay Bay.

Legendary comedian Don Rickles proves that he’s never without a quick-witted barb at his 8 p.m. show on Oct. 16 – 17 at Orleans.

Master magician David Copperfield astounds audiences at his show at 7:30 and 10 p.m. nightly; plus 4:30 p.m. Sat. on Oct. 14 – Nov. 3 at MGM Grand.

Music icon Barry Manilow performs his biggest music hits in his show at 7:30 p.m. Fri. – Sun. on Oct. 15 – 24 at Paris Las Vegas.

Fans get to see Cher’s greatest hits, extraordinary choreography from Doriana Sanchez and a parade of extravagant Bob Mackie-designed costumes in her show at 7:30 p.m. Tue. – Wed., Sat. – Sun. on Oct. 16 – 31 at Caesars Palace.
