Get ready to party alongside sexy school girls, naughty nurses and revelers dressed in some of the most outlandish costumes you’ve ever seen – it’s Halloween weekend in Vegas and it’s sure to be a weekend of frightening fun.

The Palms continues its tradition of hosting simultaneous parties and costume contests at all of their nightclub venues with Night of the Killer Costumes on Oct. 30. At Rain partiers can compete for the Best Overall Costume for cash and prizes nearing $47,000. Ghosts, ghouls and goblins will want to make their way to ghostbar to compete in the Best Undead Costume for cash and prizes totalling $11,000. If you’re wearing a really out-of-this-world costume make sure to check out Moon Nightclub to compete in the Best Sci-Fi Costume for cash and prizes nearing $37,00. Check out Playboy Club to compete in the Sexiest Costume contest for cash and prizes totalling $9,500.

Halloween fanatics can boogie down all weekend long at Studio 54 at MGM Grand with their lineup of parties starting Oct. 28 as famed old-school rapper Doug E. Fresh hosts “Throwback Thursday.” On Oct. 29 rapper-turned-rocker Vanilla Ice celebrates his birthday with a special live performance. Holly Madison hosts the 2nd annual Hollyween on Oct. 30 featuring a costume contest for the sexiest and most original costume. Oct. 31 is the 44th Annual Beaux Arts Ball. Come dressed to compete in the Best Drag, Sexiest and Most Original costume contest for cash and prizes.

This Halloween you can take your partying to new heights at VooDoo Lounge located 51 stories up at Rio. Oct. 30 Nick Cannon and other special guests host an “Ncredible Halloween Party” featuring a live performance by R&B artists Rydaz n Rtist and a costume contest. On Oct. 31 partiers can go wild with “Carnal Carnaval” featuring DJ Michael Toast and DJ Ernie on the patio and DJ Tine and DJ Albert Gruve in the lounge. The party also includes live entertainment by dance troupe Fire N Ice, suspension artists and other side-show performers.

The 15th Annual Fetish & Fantasy Ball on Oct. 30 at Hard Rock Hotel is a not-to-be-missed event. This party takes place in three venues inside the hotel including Dante’s Inferno (The Joint), Erotic Playground (Muse Ballroom) and Banger Grotto (Artists Hall).

Haunted Attractions

If you think walking through a museum filled with more than 100 celebrity wax figures is creepy then you’re in for a terrorizing treat with Madame Tussauds After Dark at the Venetian. This spooky experience lets you walk through the museum after hours and in the dark with only a glow stick as your guide Oct. 29 – 31 from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Led by costumed Titanic experts, Haunted Tours at Titanic explores some of the strange occurrences that have taken place at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Luxor. The tour is free with paid admission to the exhibition and is offered Oct. 29, 30 – 31 at 8 p.m.

On Oct. 30, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay transforms into Haunted Reef. Spooky sounds like rattling chains, creaky doors and mysterious music replace the normally soothing sounds of the ocean and jungle as visitors make their way through the dark tunnels of the aquarium.

Andrew Dice Clay leaves audiences laughing in the aisles with his naughty nursery rhymes at his 9 p.m. show Oct. 28 – 31 at Las Vegas Hilton.

Master magician David Copperfield astounds audiences at his show at 7:30 and 10 p.m. nightly; plus 4:30 p.m. Sat. on Oct. 28 – Nov. 3 at MGM Grand.

Comedians Ray Romano and Kevin James team up for a night of non-stop laughs at their 10 p.m. show on Oct. 29 – 30 at the Mirage.

Fans get to see Cher perform her greatest musical hits along with extraordinary choreography from Doriana Sanchez and a parade of extravagant Bob Mackie-designed costumes in her show at 7:30 p.m. Tue. – Wed., Sat. – Sun. on Oct. 30 – 31 at Caesars Palace.

Supernatural entertainer and mentalist Lior Suchard has made a career out of reading people’s minds and delving into their innermost thoughts. His show “Supernatural Entertainment” is sure to amaze. See him at 8 p.m. Thu. – Fri., Oct. 28 – Nov. 19 at the Palms.

The Lettermen delight fans with some of their greatest hits including “When I Fall in Love” and “Theme from a Summer Place” in their 7:30 p.m. show on Oct. 29 – 31 at South Point.
Godsmack makes a stop in Vegas at 8 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Hard Rock Hotel.

On Oct. 31 The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel transforms into the Masquerade Motel featuring house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia at 9 p.m. Guests are encouraged to come in costume.
Canadian rock band Nickelback bring their repertoire of hits to the stage in Vegas at their 8 p.m. show on Oct. 30 at MGM Grand.
