Vegas makes your dream wedding come true

We all fantasize about the dream wedding. While a ceremony on a beach, at a vineyard or inside a historic church sounds ideal, Las Vegas also has ways to help you say “I do” in the most creative way possible. And with the weather getting warmer, what better time to tie the knot than now?

Rock ‘n Roller coaster

I remember not being tall enough to ride the roller coasters with my cousins and being left behind to watch them have fun. No fun at all. Well, getting married on a roller coaster would definitely be the ultimate “in your face” move! If you and your sweetie live in the fast lane, why not exchange your vows traveling down a roller coaster with speeds up to 67 miles an hour? After exchanging vows in the coaster train with the couple’s guests seated behind, The Roller Coaster whisks the newlyweds and wedding party off through the glamour of New York-New York’s skyline. With this unique ceremony, couples get to instantly increase the wedding excitement as The Roller Coaster soars along the famous heart-line twist that simulates a jet fighter’s barrel roll.

Adventurous couples can enjoy this wedding of a lifetime Sunday through Thursday (10:45 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 11:15 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) and Friday and Saturday (10:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 12:15 a.m. – 12:30 a.m.). The morning ceremony is $600 and the evening ceremony is $700.

Most folks take their Vegas jackpot winnings back home, but my dad decided to stay here instead. That’s how I left Seattle almost 20 years ago. I moved from greenery and rainy days to hot summers, palm trees and desert. As much as I love my hometown, I decided to stick around Vegas. This city just has so much to offer. You don’t even have to be a gambler, bar hopper or an all-night partier. I love Vegas for its awesome vegan-friendly spots, concerts, swanky hotel suites and spas so big, they’re like castles. The pool scene is not too shabby either, which is why I love taking stay-cations. Besides living it up -- Vegas style -- I’m hanging out with my handsome hubby, adorable baby girl, two cats and super-fluffy Shih-Tzu. I’m also a huge fan of '90s music, shows and movies. You can find me on Google+ and Twitter.
