SJP: One woman, three initials and lots of shoe porn

There’s not a single self-respecting shoe fanatic that doesn’t know who Carrie Bradshaw is. She is solely responsible (just had to do it) for bringing high-end designer names like Manolo Blahnik into the homes of middle-America on HBO’s hit series “Sex and the City.” Thank goodness for the rest of us, Carrie’s love affair with dazzling shoes lives on through Sarah Jessica Parker’s own line.

In celebration of launching the SJP collection with Zappos Couture, the Emmy Award-winning actress is hosting a pop-up boutique on April 17 – 18 from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. at Crystals in CityCenter. Fans can meet SJP herself on Friday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Bring your credit cards and camera phones because Parker will also debut her Sin City-inspired line “The Strip Collection.” Your shoe fantasies are coming to life, so whatever you do – don’t drool on the merchandise.

Born a Buckeye - raised a Hoosier. I grew up in a one-horse town that straddles the Indiana/Ohio state line and until 2006, was in two different time zones. There were three stoplights and a whopping 48 students in my graduating class. Fast forward a few years later, I was bitten by the travel bug and decided to head west. It seems like no matter how long I live here, there’s always something that still makes my jaw drop. That’s what I love about Vegas; you never know what you’re going to see next and that’s what makes living here so much fun. Basically, if you’re bored in this town, there’s something wrong with you…not the city. I’m an avid traveler with an incurable case of wanderlust so stay tuned for all the tours, attractions and shopping adventures that Sin City has to offer.
