Fasten your seat belt for NASCAR fun in Vegas

From helicopter transportation to parties on the Strip, has you covered for NASCAR 2014. Approximately 200,000 fans will be off to the races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Thursday, March 6 through Sunday, March 9.

With numbers like that, traffic can sometimes be an issue. So why not leave the driving to the professionals? Beat the traffic by opting for a helicopter ride from Maverick Aviation Group.

Beat your friends to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with helicopter transportation.

On another note, daylight savings time takes place on Sunday, March 9, so be sure to set your clock forward an hour.

Here are some tips for race day:

  • Bring a wide-brimmed hat or baseball cap, sunglasses and sunscreen.
  • Take a light jacket. It can get chilly once the sun sets.
  • Carry cash so you don’t have to deal with fees from ATMs.
  • Keep yourself hydrated.
  • If you are bringing kids, consider bringing earplugs for them.

While you are in Vegas, you may as well take advantage of all the NASCAR fun around town. Have a race of your own at  Pole Position Raceway, an indoor race track featuring straightaways, hairpin turns and more. Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix is great for your mini race car enthusiasts.
