Come to fall’s fashion ball

Just like most females, I love clothes and have a forte on finding really great deals. While shopping like a celebrity is not exactly in my budget, next month it actually can be!

girlshopping3On Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 5-10 p.m., Sassy City Chicks presents its highly-acclaimed fashion bash. Located in the ballroom at TI, this event captures the exclusive feel of the M.A.G.I.C. convention, without having to depend on a “connection” (or your own fashion line) to get in. Thank  goodness.

“We are thrilled to offer Las Vegas residents an alternative shopping experience to over-priced retail stores in a luxurious atmosphere right in the middle of the strip.” said Isela Blair, president and founder of Sassy City Chicks.

For only $20 a person, enjoy high-end trends at heavily discounted prices.  You’ll save up to 80 percent off designer clothing, handbags and jewelry from designers such as Juicy Couture, Zooey, Hudson Jeans, Young Fabulous & Broke, Splendid, Chillers, Gabriella Giovanni, Ella Moss and Diabless. Finally — luxury shopping I won’t have to feel guilty about.

While you’re here, indulge in complimentary spa services, cocktail specials and a chance to enjoy the Hpnotiq Drink Suite. To keep the energy going, the fashion bash will feature a live DJ. Even if it weren’t about the savings, this event alone sounds like a blast.

Don’t forget to grab your gift bag on the way out. Worth more than $30, your bag of goodies includes products from Fredericks of Hollywood, Borba, Nailene, Bonne Bell and Pop Beauty.

Having company is even better: If you plan on taking a friend, it’s only $20 for the both of you if you purchase tickets in advance. For tickets and more information, call (310) 318-1731.

And for you true shopaholics who just can’t get enough, find more information about the city’s shopping areas here.

Special bonus: To receive two free VIP tickets to Sassy City Chicks event, email info@sassycitychicks.com with “VEGAS.com” in the subject line by Sept 21.

Most folks take their Vegas jackpot winnings back home, but my dad decided to stay here instead. That’s how I left Seattle almost 20 years ago. I moved from greenery and rainy days to hot summers, palm trees and desert. As much as I love my hometown, I decided to stick around Vegas. This city just has so much to offer. You don’t even have to be a gambler, bar hopper or an all-night partier. I love Vegas for its awesome vegan-friendly spots, concerts, swanky hotel suites and spas so big, they’re like castles. The pool scene is not too shabby either, which is why I love taking stay-cations. Besides living it up -- Vegas style -- I’m hanging out with my handsome hubby, adorable baby girl, two cats and super-fluffy Shih-Tzu. I’m also a huge fan of '90s music, shows and movies. You can find me on Google+ and Twitter.

Hi, Angelica! The event is for all ages. The bar in the ballroom is for those 21 and older, but all the shopping and fun is for everyone! Thanks for writing!
