Bachelorette parties in Las Vegas: From sunup to sundown and beyond

You’re coming to Las Vegas for a bachelorette party and want to do it big. With all the nightclubs, shows and other entertainment in town, planning these events may be fun, but overwhelming at the same time. If you’re stressed out with all the activities this party town has to offer, don’t fret. We’ve come up with a list of the city’s hot spots to help you organize the ultimate girls’ trip. Are you ready?

Ladies Day Out

Start the gal bonding early with a group trip to the spa. Plenty of spas offer private lounge areas for large parties. Sahra Spa & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan features a spa penthouse. For a fixed hourly rate (four hours minimum), you can hang out in the same penthouse that actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, stayed in. The penthouse spa suite includes  a steam room, side-by-side dual hydrotherapy tubs, a group treatment area, private bathrooms, vanity and changing areas, a wet bar and a living room with views of the Las Vegas Strip. Nibble on a complimentary fruit platter or get a mani-pedi on a comfortable couch. You can invite up to eight people.

The Spa at Aria also features private spa suites. Each of the three suites includes luxurious amenities, Aji stone walls, natural lighting, a lounge area with entertainment, a vanity area with lockers, a personal steam shower and a hydrotherapy tub. You may also order gourmet dining. Suites accommodate up to eight people. Spa packages range from a three-hour series of treatments to the 12-hour VIP experience.

If you just want to get your hair done and treat your tresses to happy hour, Kim Vō Salon at The Mirage offers Hairtini treatments. The Hairtini at Kim Vō Salon is a tantalizing treat: These fun formulas are mixed by hand and presented to you in a cocktail glass. They smell so great that you might actually be tempted to take a sip. To achieve the smoothest look possible, your stylist will seat you under one of the hair dryers to activate the conditioner with heat before rinsing it out. Here you can relax and enjoy champagne with the ladies. After your Hairtini experience, you may choose to complete your look with a glamorous blow dry and style.

Tea time

Bring your finest hat and raise your pinkies up: The Tea Lounge at Mandarin Oriental offers spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip in a Zen-like atmosphere. You and the ladies can enjoy a selection of the finest tea from around the world as well as coffee, cocktails and pastries like scones, cupcakes and macaroons.

Classic English Afternoon Tea features a selection of loose leaf teas, pastries and a glass of champagne. The Tea Lounge even offers special vegan and gluten-free selections (yay for me!). Afternoon tea is available from 2 – 5 p.m. daily. The lounge is open daily at 10 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. (11 p.m. on Sundays).

Bond over brunch

What better way to go over all your festivities than with a fine meal? Located inside Palms Place, Simon Kitchen and Lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the resort’s pool and cabana area. The menu offers the freshest seasonal items and quality organic ingredients.

Breakfast items include smoked salmon scramble, pancakes, cereal and omelets, to name a few. Or for $45 a person, diners can select from the following: a choice of edamame, margherita pizza or Caesar salad; the restaurant’s signature meatloaf, rotisserie chicken or wild salmon for the entrée, and the Simon Junk Food Platter for dessert.

Day clubbin’

While you’re at the Palms, you can burn off all the calories you just ate by heading to Ghostbar Dayclub. Known as GBDC, this daytime party spot features everything from champagne and bottle service to beer bongs and piñatas. The open rooftop area also offers spectacular views of the city. Another fun factor? The more colorful and outlandish you dress the better. Bring on the tutus, neon accessories and fun gear.

If you’re a fan of the outdoor party scene and want to enjoy it during nighttime, Marquee at The Cosmopolitan, Tao at The Venetian, Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas and Surrender at Encore are just a few of the clubs that let you groove underneath the stars. Hyde Bellagio offers a remarkable view of the Fountains of Bellagio from its balcony.

Shoot ‘Em Up

Who says guns are strictly for the guys? This is your chance to experience the adrenaline rush of a lifetime. Also, if you have any pent-up feelings or issues, a day at the range is surprisingly a huge stress reliever. Located just a few minutes off the Las Vegas Strip, Machine Guns Vegas makes you feel like you’re an action hero. With a wide selection of firearms from AK-47s and MAC 10s to Glock 17s and M60s, you’ll shoot up a storm and feel good doing it.

Machine Guns Vegas offers a sleek and sophisticated VIP lounge, complete with two private shooting lanes. Before or after your round, you can kick back, relax and watch TV. There are even items on display. If you’re looking to get the bride the perfect gift (or want to hint to your gals), there’s even a Louis Vuitton gun holster and matching bag for sale.

Party on wheels

Let’s face it: If you’re planning on partying and drinking the night away, the last thing any of you want to do is worry about driving. And if you love to club-hop, you don’t want to deal with the hassle of parking your car. Thanks to the growing popularity of party bus tours, not only do you get to kick back in a swanky bus, but you’ll get to hit up multiple spots – all without hailing a cab or finding a DD.

You’ll get to enjoy a four-hour bachelorette party in a state-of-the-art bus equipped with flat-screen TVs, a stereo system and even a special lighting system on the tour Just for the Ladies. It takes you to the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign where you’ll get to snap photos. If you’re taking the tour on Friday or Saturday, you’ll head to Sapphire’s and see the “Men of Sapphire” at Sapphire Gentleman’s Club. On weekdays, this tour takes you to Aria’s Gold Lounge for two-for-one drinks and VIP entrance to Haze nightclub.

Save your energy: The VIP Club Crawl shuttles you and the ladies to one ultra lounge and three clubs – all in one night. The lineup changes each night, so you can go multiple times and have a new experience each time. Venues visited include Heart Bar, The Deuce Lounge, Haze, Lily Bar and Lounge, LAX, Pure, The Bank, Gallery, Tao, 1 Oak, Cathouse and Chateau.

With Vegas Ladies Night Out, you’ll start the evening in a Las Vegas ultra lounge and then go to two nightclubs. On Thursday, you’ll meet your tour VIP host at V Bar, follow your group to Tao, ride in style to the “Welcome to Las Vegas sign” and finish at Haze. Friday’s tour starts at the Revolution Lounge, visits 1 Oak, continues to the “Welcome to Las Vegas sign” and ends at LAX.

Ready to get your sip on?  Sip Happens is an evening tour where you’ll get to sample martinis, wines, cocktails and other exotic spirits created by talented mixologists. You’ll hit two lounges and two of Vegas’ A-List nightclubs with VIP access, which includes paid cover with your own VIP host for the night. You’ll also enjoy the luxury party bus with free drinks onboard.

It’s showtime!

Whether you want to watch a show (or give your future hubby a show that he’ll never forget), Vegas offers all sorts of fun on stage.

For the sake of bachelorette tradition, you and the gal pals can check out shows like “Chippendales” at the Rio, “Thunder from Down Under” at Excalibur or “Men of Sapphire” at Sapphire’s Gentleman’s Club.

But if you’re like me and don’t want to see anyone else’s bod but the hubby’s, then why not give him a show of your own? Located inside Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops, Stripper 101 offers plenty of giggles and grooves. Your charismatic instructor will ease your nervousness immediately. The dim lighting, upbeat music and your own pole add to the excitement. By the time class is over, you and the girls will get your own personalized Stripper 101 graduation card. This is one class that will definitely keep you awake!

Feeling really ambitious? You can also attend XBU – X Burlesque University and learn the sultry moves from the “X Burlesque” showgirls. You’ll walk away with killer moves and even a free makeup kit, souvenir photo and diploma. Sexy schoolgirls, unite!

No matter what you decide to do, you’re going to have an amazing, unforgettable time. After all, people travel from around the world for a bachelorette party in Vegas. For more ideas, check out our Chick Trip page and Bachelor/Bachelorette Party page. Be warned: You’re in the entertainment capital of the world and Vegas tends to go above and beyond crazy. As long you wake up with your wallet, keys and phone by your side, you’re good.

Most folks take their Vegas jackpot winnings back home, but my dad decided to stay here instead. That’s how I left Seattle almost 20 years ago. I moved from greenery and rainy days to hot summers, palm trees and desert. As much as I love my hometown, I decided to stick around Vegas. This city just has so much to offer. You don’t even have to be a gambler, bar hopper or an all-night partier. I love Vegas for its awesome vegan-friendly spots, concerts, swanky hotel suites and spas so big, they’re like castles. The pool scene is not too shabby either, which is why I love taking stay-cations. Besides living it up -- Vegas style -- I’m hanging out with my handsome hubby, adorable baby girl, two cats and super-fluffy Shih-Tzu. I’m also a huge fan of '90s music, shows and movies. You can find me on Google+ and Twitter.
