Rock in Rio USA 2015 complete lineup announced

Rock In Rio has announced the final performance lineup for its stateside edition that will take over Las Vegas during the weekends of May 8 – 9 and 15 – 16.

Music fans will enter into the 40-acre City of Rock with three country-themed Rock Streets (the U.S., the UK and Brazil). Lined with restaurants, shops, street performers and attractions (interested in a Ferris wheel or a 64-foot high zip line, anyone?) paired with each theme, attendees will experience an entirely new and exciting kind of music festival, and will enjoy three eclectic cultures without ever jet setting across the world. With the ability to host 85,000 concertgoers every day, this edition of Rock In Rio, celebrating its 30th anniversary worldwide, will become the world’s largest music festival.

With three stages (Main, Sunset and Electronic) each committed to various music styles, the first weekend of performances will be dedicated to rock music while the second weekend will feature a pop-centric lineup all with highly awarded, celebrity musicians and performers. Performances on the Main Stage and Sunset Stage will alternate timing, allowing audiences to see every performance on the lineup.

Comments

Trading one desert for another, I moved to Las Vegas from Arizona nearly three years ago. It was something about the sparkling lights and the all-encompassing entertainment factor that persuaded me to swap cacti for casinos and dry heat for well…even drier heat. And while I do love a good show, I will always keep true to my country girl ways seeing that I am an absolute sucker for a good country concert and will always indulge the opportunity to go out country dancing! But in a city that undoubtedly has some of the world’s best cuisine, a wild assortment of endless experiences, and of course phenomenal shows, Vegas certainly has that unparalleled good time vibe that can make a city slicker out of just about anyone… including myself!
