Rascal Flatts announce nine-show residency at Hard Rock Las Vegas

Multi-platinum country vocal group Rascal Flatts is bringing their exclusive Las Vegas show, “Rascal Flatts Vegas Riot!,” to The Joint inside of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. Reputably hosting popular artists of the rock ‘n’ roll persuasion such as KISS, Train, and Seether, Rascal Flatts will be the hotel’s first country act coming in strong with a nine-show residency beginning Feb. 5, 2015.

But while the country tunes may be a bit more backwoods than what the 4,000-seat showroom typically boasts, this performance will be nothing short of rocking.

“We are thrilled to be playing such a storied venue as The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas,” said Jay DeMarcus, bass guitarist, keyboardist and background vocalist of Rascal Flatts. “We’re so excited to do something so different for us. You will experience Rascal Flatts in a way you’ve never seen us before – up close, intimate and personal, and we promise you one thing, it’s going to rock!”

With over 7 million concert tickets sold and a myriad of chart-topping singles, the famed country music group will undoubtedly live out their Hard Rock residency with the same gusto that has indefinitely anchored their reputation of entertainment excellence.

“A Rascal Flatts concert is the epitome of a good time. The band knows how to get a crowd going, how to perform and they’re passionate about their music and fans,” remarked Bobby Reynolds, vice president of AEG Live Las Vegas. “I can’t wait to see these guys and their fans take over The Joint. It will truly be unlike any other residency we’ve had.”

Trading one desert for another, I moved to Las Vegas from Arizona nearly three years ago. It was something about the sparkling lights and the all-encompassing entertainment factor that persuaded me to swap cacti for casinos and dry heat for well…even drier heat. And while I do love a good show, I will always keep true to my country girl ways seeing that I am an absolute sucker for a good country concert and will always indulge the opportunity to go out country dancing! But in a city that undoubtedly has some of the world’s best cuisine, a wild assortment of endless experiences, and of course phenomenal shows, Vegas certainly has that unparalleled good time vibe that can make a city slicker out of just about anyone… including myself!
