Stepping in for Celine Dion, who is taking a break until later this year or early next year, Mariah stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this morning to make the exciting announcement: “I’m going to do my first ever residency in Vegas at Caesars.”

Though giving away few details of her sure-to-be dazzling Vegas show, the multi-faceted recording artist did reveal that her performance will be packed with her 18 No. 1 hits including “Glitter,” “Touch My Body,” “Hero” and “Fantasy.”

“I have so many ideas for the show that I’m currently working on and am excited to perform all of my No. 1 singles together for the first time and others that are very close to my heart,” said Mariah. “My songs are the soundtrack of my life and I can’t wait to share them with my fans on stage!”

In addition to performing a majority of the tracks from the latest edition of her worldwide best-selling album, “#1’s” that will be released later this year,  Mariah will also include other fan-favorites and never-before-performed selections exclusively in this show.

“Revisiting these songs for the show, working on the updated compilation and creating new music has really let me reconnect with my songs and I hope my fans will enjoy the experience,” said Mariah.

With tickets to the first 18 performances in 2015 on sale now at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Box Office, the Grammy Award-winning singer exposed, “It’s a new chapter for me and I’m just excited about it.”

Ticket prices range from $55 – $250 with current on-sale dates of:

  • May: 6, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24
  • July: 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25, 26

Trading one desert for another, I moved to Las Vegas from Arizona nearly three years ago. It was something about the sparkling lights and the all-encompassing entertainment factor that persuaded me to swap cacti for casinos and dry heat for well…even drier heat. And while I do love a good show, I will always keep true to my country girl ways seeing that I am an absolute sucker for a good country concert and will always indulge the opportunity to go out country dancing! But in a city that undoubtedly has some of the world’s best cuisine, a wild assortment of endless experiences, and of course phenomenal shows, Vegas certainly has that unparalleled good time vibe that can make a city slicker out of just about anyone… including myself!
