J. Lo absolutely dominates opening performance of ‘All I Have’
Yes, her butt is just as fabulous in person and hell… she knows how to shake it! Last night we attended the first of Jennifer Lopez’s nine-show residency, “All I Have,” at the Axis Theater in Planet Hollywood and now, we are even more in love with the megastar than we thought possible.
Joined onstage by an incredible band, a slew of sexy dancers, extravagant props to boot and costumes that might make Taylor Swift envious, J. Lo did more than just put on a show… she effing brought it.
Rising to fame in the ’90s with pop hits such as “Let’s Get Loud” and “Jenny From the Block,” this international megastar became a red-hot icon and still climbs the music charts today.
“I’ve been preparing for this moment my entire life,” said Lopez. “The show is going to be a multifaceted high energy Jenny from the Block party, mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love – dance, hip hop, Latin and pop. It’s going to be the show I’ve always dreamt of creating.”
With rhinestoned bodysuits and leotards that make up our wardrobe dreams, Jenny from the block proved she’s got more than rocks to flaunt now. Dancing and singing her heart out through the duration of the two-hour production, J. Lo proved that she is a force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future.
She also indulged the audience even more with special guests Ja Rule, Ne-Yo and Pitbull who came out and performed with the superstar; Lopez really pulled out all of the stops for her inaugural performance.
Similarly, the set list kept audiences on the edge of their seats (if they weren’t already dancing in the aisles, that is) while she touched on several different genres. From her signature pop and Latin flair, to old-school Vegas to a touch of country with a cover of Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance,” our girl hit every note (and got low during her striptease) and performed as though this show were her last.

For a night of undeniably high energy and an opportunity to dance and sing the night away, be sure to check out Jennifer Lopez during her limited time engagement at Planet Hollywood on select dates into June.
Now, please excuse us while we go and ice our over-danced feet.
