For the first time since the show opened a year ago, “Raiding the Rock Vault” will feature two female singers, in addition to the other rock musicians performing nightly at the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
Stephanie Calvert, who is a vocalist for ’80s band Starship, and back-up singer Carol-Lyn Liddle join the crew, along with Whitesnake and Dio guitarist Doug Aldrich.
Billed as “classic rock by those who rocked it,” the returning lineup includes Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Howard Leese, guitarist of Heart; MSG and Survivor lead vocalist Robin McAuley; Asia lead vocalist and bassist John Payne; Rough Cutt and Quiet Riot lead vocalist Paul Shortino; Badfinger and Asia drummer Jay Schellen; Lynch Mob and The Offspring lead vocalist and guitarist Andrew Freeman; and Lita Ford and Hardline keyboardist Michael T. Ross.
“We’ve received a tremendous outpouring of support and feedback from our fans,” said Payne, who is also the show’s creator and producer, in a statement. “With that, we’ve been able to refresh the show’s lineup and content to deliver an unparalleled music experience.”
In “Raiding the Rock Vault,” the rockers perform classic ’60s, ’70s and ’80s hits from the Rolling Stones, The Who, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, Heart, Queen and many more.
Raiding the Rock Vault performs at 8 p.m. Friday – Tuesday in the LVH Theater.
