Country music sweethearts Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are heading to Vegas as the newest headliners at the Venetian. The announcement was made at a press conference today.
Their new show, “Soul2Soul” opens Dec. 7, 2012 and covers 10 weekends through April 2013. “Soul2Soul” will mark the first time in six years that Hill and McGraw have performed together in the United States. The show will take place in the 1,815-seat Venetian Theater, formerly the home of “Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular,” which closes Sept. 2. Ticket pre-sales start Aug. 8 for their fan club and open to the general public on Aug. 13. Prices start at $95.50.
As two of country music’s top-selling artists, McGraw and Hill typically perform in huge arenas to audiences of upwards of 50,000 people. In Vegas, fans will have a chance to see the Grammy Award-winning entertainers in an intimate concert format with innovative lighting and set design reminiscent of their “Soul2Soul” concerts. The set list will include many of Hill’s and McGraw’s No. 1 hit songs presented in an all-new way especially for audiences at the Venetian.
“We are creating a show that will be completely different from what we’ve done before – and might ever do again,” said McGraw and Hill.
The main focus of their Vegas production is performing as a couple. Hill commented that being able to do something different and creative is what interested her most about performing in Vegas. Together Hill and McGraw want to create a show experience that’s unique for them as well as their fans.
“This feels like one of those moments in time,” said Hill.
