On Dec. 15 the Las Vegas Strip will have another casino to call its own, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The luxury 2,995-room resort is celebrating with a stellar line-up of entertainment. Doors to the new property open to the public at 8 p.m. and the festivities kick off at 10 p.m. with an exclusive concert by Las Vegas native and Killers front-man Brandon Flowers, performing songs from his debut solo album “Flamingo.” The concert will he held at The Boulevard Pool. Elevated high above the Strip, The Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of both the stage and the Strip by night.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of The Cosmopolitan with an unparalleled line up of talented performers led by Brandon Flowers at The Boulevard Pool,” said CEO of The Cosmopolitan John Unwin. “This entertainment experience is an indication of what’s to come.”

After the opening The Cosmopolitan plans to continue to host artists at the forefront of the touring world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements.
On Dec. 31 the hotel is hosting a party for the record books for the opening of Marquee Nightclub. Coldplay and hip-hop icon Jay-Z are joining forces for an incredible night of entertainment to commemorate the club’s opening and the New Year. Tickets to the event are invite-only, but the concert will be shown on the Cosmopolitan’s 65-foot screen overlooking the Strip.
