Cirque shows to benefit ONE DROP charity

Cirque du Soleil is committing the energy and inspiration behind its breathtaking shows toward the goal of improving quality of life for people around the world by helping to make clean water available everywhere.

In its effort “One Week for ONE DROP,” Cirque du Soleil will donate proceeds from 10 select shows this week (including several of its Las Vegas productions) to further the pursuit of this dream.

ONE DROP was begun in 2007 by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte and aims to see that clean water is accessible to all people, forever.

This month’s bid to raise public awareness of the need for universal access to safe water began with the 12th annual Run Away with Cirque du Soleil 5K Run on March 16 and continues all this week culminating in “One Night for ONE DROP,” a one-time-only global philanthropy event in Las Vegas on March 22.

While individual tickets to the gala event are sold out, you can pay to watch the gala online (beginning March 25) by pre-ordering through the One Drop website. You can also still get tickets to this week’s benefit performances of Cirque du Soleil’s shows. Proceeds from the specific shows listed below will benefit  the ONE DROP cause.
