Bachelorettes party in Vegas

Macho men abound at Vegas strip clubs

You’ve finally found the man of your dreams. The date is set, your wedding dress has been altered to perfection and all the arrangements have been made.  The only thing left to do before your wedding day is the bachelorette party.

When you’re ready to tie the knot, there’s no better place to come undone than in Vegas. With an array of shopping, spas, restaurants and nighttime activities to offer, Vegas has everything you need for the wild bachelorette party weekend you’ve been envisioning since you got the ring.  Here are our  tips for how to make the most out of celebrating your soon-to-be non-existent single life in Sin City.

1. Bites for the Bride-to-Be
You might be watching your figure before the big day, but the last thing you want to do is skip eating, go out on an empty stomach and risk getting too drunk to stay out all night with your girls. Eating dinner is a must.

If you want to keep things light we recommend eating at a restaurant like Fleur at Mandalay Bay ,which serves small plates in an upscale setting. Fleur’s menu features a diverse selection of food that caters to a variety of tastes. Another fun aspect of this restaurant is they make ice cream tableside by mixing liquid nitrogen with cream. For one dish, liquid nitrogen is combined with a liquid Bailey’s crème anglaise and mixed tableside to create a delightful dessert that’s just as dreamy as your soon-to-be husband.

Johnny Smalls at the Hard Rock Hotel features a small plates menu with more than 50 shareable dishes. Their small plates range from Spanish tapas to Asian dim sum, classic American starters and original skewers. Their colorful décor and a lively atmosphere are great for a group looking to party. Another plus, the restaurant features an all-you-can-eat tapas and an all-you-can-drink sangria menu, which is a good option for groups.

It’s not tapas, but Tao at the Venetian is a trendy hotspot where you can go for the food and stay for the party afterwards in Tao nightclub. Featuring Asian cuisine and an alluring ambience, Tao Asian Bistro has plenty to enjoy when it comes to both the food and the intriguing décor.

Groups in the mood for a meatier meal should make their way to STK at the Cosmopolitan. This hip venue redefines the typical steakhouse by providing a female-friendly atmosphere that combines upscale dining with a downtown lounge vibe.  A live DJ gives the restaurant a party vibe that’s flirty, fun and a good starting point for the rest of your night.

2. Dance the Night Away
This evening is all about you and the girls. What better way to celebrate than by getting down on the dance floor? Any nightclub you go to in Vegas is going to have a good party scene on the weekend, but here are some of our top picks.

We already mentioned Tao at the Venetian. This club always hosts special guest celebrities and DJs, making it a well known hot spot to see and be seen.

The Chandelier Bar at Cosmopolitan

Moon/Playboy Club at Palms is another favorite nighttime destination. Located on the 52nd floor of the Palms’ Fantasy Tower, this nightclub lets you party with a view. Moon even has a retractable roof where revelers can dance under the stars — or amongst them — as the club is also a popular spot for the rich and famous when they come to town.

When you’re with a big group sometimes nightclubs can get a little stuffy, but not if you’re partying at XS at Encore. Encompassing a 13,000-square- foot indoor area and a 27,000-square-foot outdoor pool area, the options are limitless when it comes to finding a spot for you and your girls to drink and dance the night away.

If you’re looking for a cool bar to start off the evening or a hip place to stop by for a drink after you’ve sweated out all your sins on the dance floor, The Chandelier Bar at Cosmopolitan is the place to be. Enshrouded in crystals, this three-story venue features a bar and a slightly different ambiance on each floor. There are plenty of seating options at Chandelier where your group can chill with their drinks and admire the shimmering strands of 2 million beaded crystals that surround the bar. The best part is this isn’t a club, meaning there’s never a line to get in or a cover charge.

3. Strip Clubs & All-Male Revues
You want to see some skin before you settle down. If it’s male muscle you’re after, we recommend Olympic Garden and Sapphire. These strip clubs are home to both male and female strippers who perform in separate areas of the club. Make sure to have plenty of dollar bills handy.

When going to a strip club sounds too unsavory for the bride-to-be ,Vegas has the next best thing, male strip shows. Revues like Chippendales, Thunder from Down Under and Men of X let you get a generous dose of all-male entertainment without having to shell out any money apart from what you paid for your show ticket. You and your girls can drink and go wild as men undress to music and choreographed numbers on stage.

4. Travel in Style
A bachelorette party and driving go together like fish and peanut butter. It’s just not going to work. Calling a taxi is one option, but if you really want to ride in style splurge for a limo or party bus. You can get to where you need to go and everyone can keep partying during the ride.

5. Places for Party Favors
Nothing signals that there’s a bachelorette in the house better than a veil with some phallic-shaped accessories hanging from it. You need party favors to make a statement, and there are several places located near or on the Las Vegas Strip where you can pick up some goodies for your group. Go Sexy inside the Flamingo has everything from lingerie to books, games and other novelty items. With a pair of women’s legs forming the entrance, this shop is hard to miss. Les Memories on Le Boulevard in the Paris Las Vegas features a  more refined selection of wedding and bachelorette giftware. When you want to see it all, head to Déjà Vu Love Boutique located on 3247 Industrial Road behind the Trump Towers. This all-encompassing shop has every adult item you can imagine and probably some that you never would.

Encore Beach Club

6. Make a Splash
Make sure to pack some stylish swimwear if you’re heading to Vegas in the spring/summer months. When the weather heats up, partying is a daytime activity at  the myriad of pool clubs in Vegas. Going to a pool club is a great way for your group to hang out during the day while enjoying some sun and fun. Another plus, pool clubs are for adults only. You can work on your tan without having to worry about hearing crying babies or getting splashed by any kids with squirt guns.

Encore Beach Club hosts live DJs and a party atmosphere, yet it also has places where you can enjoy some down time before your evening of debaucherybegins. You can relax in the lily pads and lounge chairs or head to the center of the pool area and get your groove on at the dance station.

It’s go big or go home when it comes to the daylife scene at Wet Republic at MGM Grand. The pool area encompasses 53,000 square feet, which includes multiple pools, a bar area, daybeds, water lounges and enough room left over to host big-name entertainers that perform for special events throughout the summer months.

For enduring partiers who are here through Sunday, Rehab at Hard Rock Hotel is a guaranteed wild time. The weekend may be ending, but that’s no reason to stop partying. If your group really wants to make a splash, a stint at Rehab is in order.

7. Salons & Spas
Wedding planning is stressful. Take some time during your bachelorette party weekend to relax with a visit to the spa.

Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venetian is the largest spa in town. With more than 80 treatment rooms, it’s perfect for trying to coordinate salon and spa services for a large group. The spa’s waiting room area has lush vegetation and a calming atmosphere that transports guests to another world while they wait for their next treatment.

Sipping your favorite drink is one thing, but how about a cocktail for your hair? Kim Vo Salon at the Mirage offers Hairtini treatments. They’re a fun way for your group to be social and beautify themselves at the same time. Plus the salon serves champagne to enjoy during your treatment.

Students at Stripper 101

Specializing in holistic health and organic ingredients, the Spa at Vdara is an especially good choice for a bride-to-be who enjoys nature. With wooden floors and waterfall fixtures, this spa offers a tranquil escape for a group that wants the utmost in luxury before they hit the town.

8. Prowess on the Pole
You maybe be coming to Vegas to forget about life for a while, but Stripper 101 offers some useful skills that you’ll want to remember. Your future husband will thank you. Group activities for a bachelorette party don’t get any better than learning how to pole dance. Another benefit, this striptease cardio and pole dancing class is a great way to add some exercise into your trip. You’ll learn some sexy striptease moves and pole dancing techniques while burning off some calories from your weekend of indulgence.

9. Shopping on the Strip
The perfect bachelorette party necessitates the perfect outfit. There are plenty of places to shop until you drop on the Strip including the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Fashion Show Mall and Town Square.

10. Attire
Girls always like to dress up, but one thing to consider is your shoes. You want to be comfortable, but nightclubs will not allow you inside wearing sneakers. Consider what your group has planned for the night and dress accordingly. If you foresee a lot of walking in your near future,  you might want to skip the stilettos and opt for a pair of trendy platform wedges. They offer more support than high heels, and your feet will thank you in the morning.
