If you’re single and visiting Vegas on Valentine’s Day, have no fear. On this holiday that honors romance, couples won’t be the only ones having fun. On Friday, Feb. 14, Sin City will offer an abundance of activities for those who are looking for love…or who are just out to have a good time. We’ve listed 10 ideas below where Cupid – who always bets on amour – is sure to work his mysterious ways. So get your glam on, then go forth and show off your hot self. You’re sure to find someone special.

1.) Who’d want to spend a long evening with just one person when you can go on 24 three-minute dates? In downtown, The D Las Vegas is attempting to break the world record for the largest speed-dating event. If you’re at least 21 years old, head over to the D Bar at Fremont Street Experience. From 6 – 9 p.m., the resort will be hosting a date-a-thon. Not only will you have the chance to hook a hottie, but you can also buy drinks for $1 and enter to win prizes like hotel stays, meals at Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse and tickets to see The Scintas. The speed-dating event is free, but all participants must register either online at theD.com or in person beginning at 4 p.m.

2.) Candy hearts, flowers and stuffed bears…no thank you. Moon Nightclub on the top floor of the Palms’ Fantasy Tower is holding a “This Is Not a Valentine’s Day Party.” It will feature music by MICS (a duo comprised of Mikey Cross and Mike Uriarte) and Kid Conrad. With a jaw-dropping view and a retractable roof, you’ll feel like you’re dancing on air. Doors open at 10:30 p.m.

Pink Cadillac at Rockhouse

The Pink Cadillac cocktail is among the Rockhouse's "Chick Drinks" for Valentine's Day

3.) Rockhouse, an ultra dive bar located inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian | The Palazzo, has a special evening planned especially for ladies – and it doesn’t include eating ice cream or watching romantic movies. Gather up your girlfriends and make tracks for the “Don’t Bring Your Boyfriend to This Bar” party, which will be running throughout Valentine’s Day. Women will enjoy half-priced “Chick Drinks,” which include the Pink Cadillac (a mixture of Ketel One, Sweet Revenge liqueur, Watermelon Pucker and Sprite) and the Rock Me Like a Hurricane (a combination of Bacardi O orange rum, Bacardi Rock Coconut, amaretto, grenadine, orange juice and freshly squeezed lime).

4.) Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will turn your Valentine’s evening from drab to fab. Dubbed “Cupid’s Revenge,” Body English nightclub is hosting a lingerie/pajama party, where you are encouraged to come wearing sexy sleepwear. There will also be performances from Splitbreed, Bret Rubin and Jayrod. The fun begins at 10:30 p.m. If you arrive early, stop by Culinary Dropout for a drink. Boasting “Single’s Awareness Day” specials, the bar and restaurant known for having a rebellious attitude will be serving Ladies Night (a cocktail that combines Plymouth gin, strawberry simple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon and sparkling wine) and the Broken Engagement (a mix of Belvedere vodka, grapefruit and cranberry juices, and freshly squeezed lemon). Both libations cost $10 and are only available on Valentine’s Day.

5.) Don’t let the sickeningly sweet sentiments of Valentine’s Day get to you. Shirk them off on the dance floor at The Bank in Bellagio. The chic 6,600-square-foot nightclub has planned a Stupid Cupid party hosted by the gorgeous Viva Vegas Vixens, who will be scantily clad in red lingerie. This unforgettable night of drinking and dancing, which begins at 10:30 p.m., will also include DJ Ikon on the turntables setting an atmosphere where everyone is in the mood for love.

"Fantasy" at Luxor

Calling all men: Is this your "Fantasy" for Valentine's Day?

6.) Instead of overindulging on chocolate, delight in eye candy of the calorie-free kind. Las Vegas is home to muscle-bound hunks and curvy cuties. So ladies, if you’d like a gander at some good-looking men, check out one of these troupes of male strippers: Chippendales at Rio and the Thunder from Down Under at Excalibur. Both offer shows at 9 and 11 p.m. Gentlemen, you can see a bevy of topless beauties in “Crazy Girls” at Riviera at 9:30 p.m., “X Burlesque” at Flamingo at 10 p.m. and “Fantasy” at Luxor at 10:30 p.m.

7.) Mosey on down to Stoney’s Rockin’ Country at Town Square Las Vegas to show off your cowboy or cowgirl moves on a big dance floor. Doors open at 7 p.m. with free line dance lessons beginning at 7:30 p.m., so you won’t need a partner. For $15, guzzle down all the drafts you can drink. Plus, tonight at 10 p.m. the Brodie Stewart Band, known for the song “Fine Lookin’ Country Girl,” will perform.

8.) Come take a shot at love on a VIP club crawl. Just because you’re single doesn’t mean you’re alone – and this five-hour tour that costs only $89 will take you to the hottest “meet” markets on the Strip. Beginning at 9:30 p.m., you’ll check in on the patio at Chateau inside Paris Las Vegas. You’re social adventure will continue as you board a party bus and voyage over to 1 Oak at The Mirage, with the evening concluding at one of three stellar nightclubs – Pure at Caesars Palace, Hakkasan at MGM Grand or Light at Mandalay Bay. (Note: This lineup of clubs for Feb. 14 is subject to change.)

Tommy Trash at XS

9.) Looking for a heartthrob? You’ll find several DJs known for spinning musical magic at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. Tryst at Wynn, which is situated alongside a private lagoon by a 90-foot waterfall, will throw its Valentine’s Day Bash with a DJ set by Breath Carolina. To enhance your listening pleasure, try the nightclub’s exotic Ménage á Trois cocktail made with 15-year-old Grand Marnier and topped with 24-karat gold flakes. Next door, the super sophisticated nightclub XS decorated in rich gold, bronze, black will be showcasing Tommy Trash with an opening set by Warren Peach.

10.) Every lady wants to make sure she’s irresistible when she hits the dance floor – and Night School 4 Girls can show you all the right moves. Held at 3:30 p.m. inside the Hard Rock Café on the Las Vegas Strip, this 70-minute class will teach you the art of seduction. With instruction from real showgirls, you’ll not only learn how to move in a sexy way, but you’ll also be taught a burlesque routine and some pole dancing tricks. Night School 4 Girls makes for a fun and empowering way to spend Valentine’s Day – especially if you splurge on the “Ultimate Package,” which includes a ticket to see the aforementioned Thunder From Down Under hunks along with a swag bag containing a party boa, a souvenir T-shirt and an “Official Graduate” button.

I’m a Las Vegas native. By profession, I write at Vegas.com. Mostly about the city’s hotels, but on other topics – gaming and transportation – too. I really love staying at hotels. And the ones here are among the biggest and best in the world. Some key things I’ve learned: Resort fees are inescapable (frustrating but true), a friendly attitude at the front desk may score you a great view and over-the-top room amenities – bath butlers, Japanese tea service, menus with “intimate” items – do exist. What else should you know about me? Well, I’m comfortable at a blackjack table. And I like eating late-night pancakes in hotel coffee shops. A lot. Follow Renee on Google+.
