RPM at The Tropicana (in the former Club Nikki space), 1OAK at The Mirage (previously JET) and Hyde Bellagio (which was once Fontana Bar at The Bellagio) are making their grand debuts during New Year’s weekend. Each venue aims to provide a distinct nightlife experience and a grand bash to get things started as a nightclub while kicking off the new year.
RPM: Upscale libations, a gaming lounge and fierce beats
RPM will present clubgoers with what the club heralds as an “interactive experience” and “today’s hottest stars and top recording artists as well as a variety of world-class DJs, dancers and specialty acts.” Among the selling points for RPM are the rotating weekly guests, three bars and upscale gaming lounge with table games and roulette. RPM will also feature typical nightclub comforts like bottle service, VIP service and more.
“It’s going to be a place for people to come and not worry about the service because the service is going to be spectacular,” said Richard Wilk, Tropicana vice president of nightlife marketing and operations. “The new nightclub is going away from the old perception of the Tropicana [before its recent remodel]. RPM is sleek, sexy, bold and goes away from that perception.”
RPM opens Friday, Dec. 30, with their first “WTF” Friday night, featuring house DJs Dan, Christopher Lawrence and Donald Glaude. Tickets for the grand opening start at $30 for women and $50 for men, and include an open bar from 10-11:30 p.m.
On New Year’s Eve, they welcome nine-time Grammy winner and multiplatinum superstar Mary J. Blige, the “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul.” This marks the launch of RPM’s Saturday night event “Saturdays: Unleashed,” which features special guests each week along with resident DJ sourMILK.
The 16,500-square-foot venue will be open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30 p.m. until late.
1OAK: A “1-Of-A-Kind” experience from New York City
1OAK is setting up shop for a New Year’s Eve grand opening with Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie. Butter Group, who manages 1OAK in New York, has teamed up with Light Group, the people behind some of Vegas’s best clubs, including Haze and The Bank.
“Combining The Light Group’s expertise and experience in service and management with The Butter Group’s edgy New York City style and energy, 1OAK Las Vegas will be a truly unique nightlife experience that will set new industry standards in Las Vegas,” said Light Group founder Andrew Sasson.
1 OAK is formulated to be audio-visually stunning, with artist Roy Nachum designing unique works of art into the layout and Avalon Sound vetting the lighting and sound system.
1OAK will also adapt to the night and to different events. The club encompasses two separate rooms, each housing their own bar and DJ Booth that can be tailored to accommodate smaller or larger groups. Each room stands on its own as an independent venue through individual audio-visual capabilities and both rooms will blend seamlessly for a full capacity event.
1OAK will be open on Fridays and Saturdays, from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Hyde Bellagio: A beautiful view with your VIP experience
Hyde Bellagio is SBE Nightlife Group’s new club in the former Fontana space, and the Hyde brand’s first foray into Las Vegas. The venue is a mixed outdoor/indoor nightlife space that overlooks the Fountains of Bellagio. Evenings start at 5 p.m., while the venue goes into full nightlife mode at 10 p.m.
Hyde opens on New Year’s Eve with an ” uber-exclusive NYE event for sbe and Bellagio clientele,” said Costas Charalambous, senior vice president of the SBE Nightlife Group. “Guests of Hyde Bellagio on [New Year’s Eve] will have their curiosity rewarded with the discovery of a room teeming with celebs, influencers, artists and DJs.”
On its Jan. 1 public opening, the club hosts famed DJ Paul Oakenfold and Richard Beynon, the newest signed artist on Oakenfold’s Perfecto Records label.
“Hyde as a brand caters to affluent and influential clientele, and Hyde Bellagio will attract the same,” said Charalambous. ” It’s for the people who want a break from the overcrowded nightclub and escape to an intimate location where luxury overflows.”
The venue has 40 tables and a capacity of 714 people, which according to Charalambous, means the Hyde Bellagio will be able to treat every guest like they’re a VIP.
In addition to its VIP stylings, the other standout feature of Hyde Bellagio is its location near the Fountains of Bellagio.
“This amazing booth is located in the center of it all, right on the edge of the Fountains, and is destined to become the most sought after nightlife experience in Las Vegas,” Charalambous said. ” Guests will be able to enjoy world-famous DJs while the Fountains dance around them.”
Hyde Bellagio will be open Sundays through Thursdays at 5 p.m., and Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
