IMAGINE at Omnia is our new favorite Sunday night

Throughout the summer we find ways to stay cool. And we also find ways to totally undo all that cooling by dancing our brains out next to 200 other hotties. This summer, or at least for the next dozen weeks of it since summer is pretty much half the year here, Omnia has the Sunday night party our hot hearts have been dreaming of. They call it IMAGINE and we’re pretty sure even John Lennon would be busting to the DJs they’ve got.

The party themes revolve throughout the season. We just saw the space transformed into an artistic vision of a midnight jungle paradise. We’ve never seen so many beautiful butterflies. And somehow we felt like Chuckie was right at home under the flora adorning the DJ booth. This is what theme nights at clubs are supposed to be and we know it’s only going to get hotter.

Coming up this Sunday, IMAGINE is throwing out their version of a masquerade. We’re all keeping the details tight right now. These are events you really need to see for yourself. But if last week was any indication, the room will be filled with lights and masks and dreams and all sorts of other ephemeral magnificence that only really makes sense to someone who’s seen it in the moment.

Check out the pics, then call your friends and be like, “Yeah. We’re going to this. … No. I don’t care if it’s my sister’s wedding. We’re blowing it off and going to Omnia!” It’ll be worth it. And when you show the pics to your sister of you dancing your brains out to Nicky Romero’s set, she’ll totally get it. She’ll be all, “You let me get stupid married to the person I love instead of bringing me with you!” And you’ll reply, “Next time, boo. Next time.”

I came from a little town in the Midwest. And believe me, I’m never going back. It’s probably nice if you love grass and snow; but I love the lights, the glamour, and the flocks of tourists seeking fun and fortune. Once the sun goes down, I’ll be the first one out hitting the clubs or just wandering the Strip for a little nighttime adventure. Passing through Bond on my way to Lily Bar, or taking a shortcut through Double Helix before landing at Parasol Up/Down, I’m the one you’ll randomly bump into – only sometimes literally – strolling through Sin City’s liquored veins – and loving every minute of it.
