Life is ‘suite’ in the new Sky Villas at Tropicana Las Vegas

If you’re looking for a way to spoil someone in Vegas for Valentine’s Day weekend – or any weekend of the year – here’s an idea to consider. Tropicana Las Vegas just debuted some suites that are guaranteed to turn the extravagance factor up to an 11.

The Sky Villas, apartment-style penthouses, are located on the 20th floor of the resort’s Paradise Tower. Not only do they offer unforgettable views of the Las Vegas Strip, but they are kitted out with every possible comfort.

Described as bestowing “modern glamour,” each Sky Villa consists of a master bedroom with his-and-her walk-in closets. The bed, which is outfitted in the finest linens and highlighted by a gold leaf headboard, is the centerpiece.

The master bathroom is similarly divine. There are two walk-in steam showers with LED shower heads, but once you get into the whirlpool tub (which is big enough for two), you’ll never want to leave. This fantasy-like vessel boasts a massage function, air jets with LED lights, a computer control panel, a TV and a Kohler water filler that flows from the ceiling.

Technology also abounds in the Sky Villas. With the Creston Control System, which intuitively controls things when you’re out, you can adjust the window coverings, lights, temperature, music and TV programming or do things like order room service.

In addition, each Sky Villa includes a living room with a wet bar, a private spa/massage room and an office.

The Sky Villas were designed by Alex Yemenidjian, CEO of Tropicana Las Vegas, and Annie Gevorkian.

“We continually strive to deliver the best for our guests and these suites offer a new choice in luxury accommodations in Las Vegas reminiscent of a penthouse in Miami,” said Yemenidjian.

Unique décor elements define the style of the Sky Villas. For example, there are white lacquered panels and exotic woods that give the suites a warmth that almost glows. Top-quality carpeting and marble as well as boldly colored accents and abstract artwork add to the atmosphere.

All in all, the Sky Villas offer a new level of luxury at Tropicana Las Vegas…and when you come to Sin City, isn’t it the perfect time to treat yourself to a life you’ve only dreamt about before?

I’m a Las Vegas native. By profession, I write at Mostly about the city’s hotels, but on other topics – gaming and transportation – too. I really love staying at hotels. And the ones here are among the biggest and best in the world. Some key things I’ve learned: Resort fees are inescapable (frustrating but true), a friendly attitude at the front desk may score you a great view and over-the-top room amenities – bath butlers, Japanese tea service, menus with “intimate” items – do exist. What else should you know about me? Well, I’m comfortable at a blackjack table. And I like eating late-night pancakes in hotel coffee shops. A lot. Follow Renee on Google+.
