Get lucky in Las Vegas at these sexy party pits

Some things are meant to go together. Like movies and popcorn. Or hot summer days and ice cream. Each enhances the other to create an amazing experience. The same can be said about clubbing and gambling. In Las Vegas, these two hot pursuits are often combined to form what’s known as a “party pit.”

You’ll encounter party pits on the casino floors of several major resorts along the Strip and in downtown. Simply look and listen for these telltale signs: A small configuration of gaming tables. Lingerie-clad dealers or go-go dancers. Strobe lights. And some seriously loud rockin’ music.

To save you time scouting around, we’ve tracked down eight of our favorite themed party pits. Here’s where you’ll find Lady Luck and her fickle family at their most seductive in Sin City.

The Ignite Lounge and Ignite Pit at Monte Carlo

The Ignite Lounge and Ignite Party Pit at Monte Carlo

•  Ignite Party Pit at Monte Carlo
Set fire to your night in Vegas by heading to this party pit just inside the Monte Carlo’s main entrance, which is right off the resort’s pedestrian plaza on Las Vegas Boulevard. The Ignite Party Pit is situated next to the Ignite Lounge and directly across from the theater housing the Blue Man Group. There are 10 tables with a variety of games including roulette and blackjack. At the heart of the excitement is a long runway capped on each end by strobe lights, speakers and three flat-screen TVs. Of course, no one’s interested in watching the day’s big games while girls in wooly mammoth-style fur boots and very revealing lingerie are shaking their shapely back sides. The tables at the Ignite Party Pit are open daily from noon – 5 a.m. Dancers appear on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and there’s even a DJ on hand Thursdays – Sundays. Tip: Try to come by after 11 p.m. because that’s when things really start to heat up.

•  I ♥ This Party Pit at Harrah’s
Mosey on into Harrah’s northern Strip-facing entrance and pull up a chair at this party pit that was inspired by Toby Keith’s I ♥ This Bar & Grill. Tin signs bearing “Old No. 7 Brand” line the ceiling, and Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrels dot the gaming floor. There are nine tables manned by female dealers in Toby Keith T-shirts with body-hugging black pants and boots. Flanking the party pit’s giant flashing guitar sign are two raised platforms embellished with stars and stripes – where you’ll often spot dancers in skimpy cowgirl outfits. I ♥ This Party Pit is open daily from 4:30 p.m. – 2 a.m.

The Pleasure Pit at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

The Pleasure Pit at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

•  The Pleasure Pits at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
The pursuit of happiness is a fundamental right, and nowhere is that truer than at Planet Hollywood. This resort has not one, but two Pleasure Pits for those seeking the bliss of adrenaline-pumping music and gorgeous go-go girls while gambling. Open 24/7, they are positioned beside each other in the middle of the casino near the Heart Bar. Each Pleasure Pit has two raised stages with dancers in pink bras, hot pants, garters and black boots. Each Pleasure Pit also boasts 11 tables with a variety of games including blackjack, three- and four-card poker, roulette and Big Six. Men will enjoy chatting up the female dealers who are dressed in red corsets, lingerie and fishnet stockings…and women will also be delighted to hit on male dealers donning red vests (without shirts) that show off their bulging biceps.

•  The Party Pit at Excalibur
Check out this party pit near the front of the faux medieval castle next to Dick’s Last Resort. Beneath two glittering silver disco balls, you’ll find eight blackjack tables with various limits. Pink, red and blue strobe lights are focused on a runway in the center of the action where a go-go dancer in a sequined bra, panties, thigh-high stockings and boots struts her stuff on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9 p.m.

The Pussycat Dolls Casino at Caesars Palace

The Pussycat Dolls Casino at Caesars Palace

•  Pussycat Dolls Casino at Caesars Palace
Inspired by the popular singing group, this glittering pink party pit is located between the resort’s race and sports book and the Seahorse Lounge. There are two birdcages underneath elegant crystal chandeliers. Tall dancers in black lingerie, stockings and high-heeled boots show off an array of burlesque-style moves with feather boas. Dealers dressed in skintight blue tops with black hot pants and a sailor-style cap work the 10 gaming tables, which consist of blackjack, roulette and three-card poker. The Pussycat Dolls Pit is open on Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. and Sunday from 8 p.m. – 1 p.m. Beside the party pit is a retail area that sells apparel, accessories and other souvenirs for fans and aspiring Pussycat Dolls.

•  The X Pit at Flamingo
Temptation awaits all those who step inside the Flamingo’s southern Strip-facing entrance. On most nights, hot girls promoting the resort’s provocative X Burlesque show and XBU (aka X Burlesque University) can be seen writhing in an elevated pink cage with a stripper pole. It’s marked with a giant silver “X.” The X Pit’s 13 tables, which are covered in pink felt, encircle the cage. Outfitted in pink corsets and super short plaid skirts, the female dealers are scintillating to look at as well.

The Dancing Dealers at the Golde Gate Hotel & Casino

The Dancing Dealers at the Golden Gate

•  Dancing Dealers at the D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino
Troupes of “Dancing Dealers” can be found at two resorts in downtown Las Vegas. At the D Las Vegas, they perform on the first floor of the casino in the main table game pit, and at the Golden Gate, they can be found inside the small casino and outside atop the One Bar. At both properties, these sultry women dress in fringed bikinis with black boots, fishnet stockings and ID collars. They appear every night beginning at 6 p.m. The Dancing Dealers add a flirtatious spirit to the gaming scene at the D. At the Golden Gate, they are also meant to evoke a brash new breed of young women from the Jazz Age – with a contemporary twist, of course.

I’m a Las Vegas native. By profession, I write at Mostly about the city’s hotels, but on other topics – gaming and transportation – too. I really love staying at hotels. And the ones here are among the biggest and best in the world. Some key things I’ve learned: Resort fees are inescapable (frustrating but true), a friendly attitude at the front desk may score you a great view and over-the-top room amenities – bath butlers, Japanese tea service, menus with “intimate” items – do exist. What else should you know about me? Well, I’m comfortable at a blackjack table. And I like eating late-night pancakes in hotel coffee shops. A lot. Follow Renee on Google+.
