Bye, bye Rome: Say hello to Caesars Palace’s new, elegant Julius Tower
Caesars Palace has reinvented Rome…in its own unique way.
The classic Roman Tower is now a thing of the past as Caesars Palace introduced its brand new and luxurious Julius Tower this week. The hotel tower makeover cost $75 million and will welcome guests starting Jan. 1, 2016. Way to ring in the new year, right?
The tower has 587 rooms. There are also suites available for those who want to jazz up their stay. Designed by Michael Medeiros of KNA Design, each room has a modern look with a touch of whimsy. The canary yellow and cool blue accents complement the room’s neutral toned furnishings. We’re digging the awesome headboard, complete with bronze-framed mirror panels. There’s also a seating area where you can kick your feet up and relax…or study the room’s design to see how you can replicate it in your own home. (How does a trip to West Elm or IKEA sound?)
The bathroom feels more like a spa, with its stone walls, oversized shower and the ultra-posh vanity mirrors. We’re just crazy about all the mirrors in here.
The new Julius Tower is the latest part of the iconic Vegas hotel’s $1 billion investment. If you decide to stay here, you’re in luck. This tower is right in the middle of everything, so the casino, restaurants and nightlife are just a quick walk away.
Now all we’re missing are grape leaves, a toga and wine served in a chalice. We’re sure Julius Caesar would be proud.
