A Wynn-Wynn situation: Stay in a luxurious villa or duplex

We are big fans of Wynn Las Vegas. What’s not to love? We instantly feel fancy simply by walking through the elegant property. The resort’s beautiful atrium and the pool speak for themselves. Additionally, most restaurants have amazing views of waterfalls or the hotel’s sprawling golf course. (Bonus: Vegans can enjoy dining options at every restaurant, which is a rarity on the Strip.) If it weren’t for the slot machines and poker tables, you’d almost forget you’re in Vegas.

But now we have a reason to love it even more: Once available exclusively to VIP guests, now anyone can reserve either of the two of the most coveted stays — The Wynn Fairway Villas or the Three Bedroom Duplex (located at Encore, its sister property next door). If you’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at a Wynn or Encore room, multiply that experience by 100.

Available in one or two-bedroom layouts, the Wynn Fairway Villa is so exclusive it has its own private driveway (which, by the way, you’ll pull into via limo). Even though you came to Vegas to experience the city, we won’t judge you if you spend most of your time in here. You can enjoy a meal on your private balcony while admiring views of the Wynn’s golf course, or relax with a lavish spa service in the comforts of your personal massage room. Other amenities include a living room that seats eight, butler service and limo service to and from the airport.

If you’ve ever wondered what it would feel like to live on the Strip, the two-story, 5,829-square-foot Three-Bedroom Duplex inside Encore gives you an idea. It’s like a mansion inside a hotel, complete with its own elevator. You can shoot some pool in the billiards room, which has jaw-dropping views of the Strip. Even the massage/exercise room has floor-to-ceiling windows. The living room and dining area comfortably fits 16 guests, and both bathrooms have whirlpool tubs. While these tubs are spiffy, you also have the option of hanging out in a cabana at the Tower Suite’s pool. Other amenities include butler service, limo service to and from airport and pop-up LCD HDTVs in each bedroom.

You can host the party of the year or shoot your own music video here, but honestly? The villa and duplex are both so darn fancy, we’d probably just want them to ourselves. Both stays include priority reservations at the golf course, restaurants, spas and salons, expedited nightclub entry and daily access to spa and fitness center. Keep in mind these rooms range in the thousands per night, so get your Black Card ready. You’ll need to call (702) 770-7077 for specific rates and availability.

Most folks take their Vegas jackpot winnings back home, but my dad decided to stay here instead. That’s how I left Seattle almost 20 years ago. I moved from greenery and rainy days to hot summers, palm trees and desert. As much as I love my hometown, I decided to stick around Vegas. This city just has so much to offer. You don’t even have to be a gambler, bar hopper or an all-night partier. I love Vegas for its awesome vegan-friendly spots, concerts, swanky hotel suites and spas so big, they’re like castles. The pool scene is not too shabby either, which is why I love taking stay-cations. Besides living it up -- Vegas style -- I’m hanging out with my handsome hubby, adorable baby girl, two cats and super-fluffy Shih-Tzu. I’m also a huge fan of '90s music, shows and movies.
