A few of my highlights from the evening included Chef Nico Chessa’s sprawling table of assorted antipasto salads (literally from end to end). When Chessa and I tried to greet each other, there were tables of pasta salads, shrimp salads and roasted red peppers between us.
The watermelon mojito from Wet Republic was, let’s just say, dangerous. The rum-filled beverage was my drink of choice throughout the evening.
Rao’s had a velvety carrot soup, Steakhouse 46 had hundreds of delicious sliders and Bradley Ogden’s rice pudding was to die for.
Overall, the event had a great turnout with lots of creative food and drink.
