This is Vegas — home of the $777 burger, the $1,000 sundae and now a $750 cupcake.
The “Decadence D’Or” is made of Palmira Single Estate Chocolate, made from a hard-to-find Porcelana Criollo bean found in the Valrhona plantation in Venezuela. It also contains Tahitian gold vanilla caviar, a delicacy that takes almost a year to make. The cupcake is topped with Louis XIII Remy Martin Cognac, gold flakes, and is served in a hand blown sugar fleur de lis, fit for a king.
The cupcake is available at the new Sweet Surrender cupcake and candy shop at Palazzo and advance notice is needed when ordering.
My advice: don’t eat it all in one bite.
