In honor of National Shrimp Day – May 10 – the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino is rolling back the price of its shrimp cocktail to just 50 cents. That’s the price the hotel first charged when it introduced the “Original Shrimp Cocktail” in 1959.
The shrimp cocktail is served in a classic tulip sundae glass with spicy cocktail sauce and fresh lemon wedges. It will be served from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, May 10 at Du-par’s Restaurant in the hotel. Limit one per person while supplies last.
