Special events throughout the weekend include:
Friday, October 4
Ten Ways to Sushi: 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Executive Chef Heather Zheng from Shibuya at MGM Grand will host a cooking demonstration and sake tasting. Chef Zheng will educate guests about Japanese cuisine’s most popular fish — the tuna. During the process, 10 different dishes will be created, each complemented with fresh wasabi and paired with refreshing sake selections.
First Course: 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
During the official kick-off party of the weekend, View Bar at Aria invites guests to sample food from restaurants barMASA, Julian Serrano, FIVE50 Pizza Bar and Sage. Throughout the celebration, guests will sip on cocktails and mingle with the participating chefs.
Saturday, October 5
All-Star Brunch: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Hosted by Chef Michael Mina, guests will enjoy a four-course meal at American Fish at Aria with exclusive cocktail and wine pairings, created by the chefs at the resort.
Burger Bash with Joël Robuchon and Michael Mina: 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Guests will need a big appetite for Burger Bash. Hosted poolside at MGM Grand, seven of the resort’s restaurants will serve delicious burgers and sides. Attendees are encouraged to try a burger from all participating chefs to see which suits their palate. Celebrity judges, including Chef Joël Robuchon and Chef Michael Mina, will determine the ultimate winner.
Syrah That Will Change Your Life: 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
This entertaining event will be led by Master Sommelier and Bellagio Director of Wine Jason Smith, along with incredible producers of Syrah wines.
Six-Course Bliss with Chef Joël Robuchon: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Guests will have a one-of-a-kind epicurean experience with “Chef of the Century” Joël Robuchon as he prepares an exclusive six-course menu with wine pairing. At the end of the dinner, attendees will receive a Robuchon cookbook, personally signed by the chef.
A Harvest Dinner with Chef Michael Mina: 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Michael Mina will prepare a specialized menu using seasonal ingredients and unique flavor profiles along with wine pairings to complement each course.
Sunday, October 6
From Far East to Champagne: Bubbles Meets Fountains Brunch: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Enjoy Cantonese, Szechwan and Hunan cuisine at Jasmine overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. Savor fresh ingredients at several live-action cooking stations and have a decadent dessert in the chocolate room, with special offerings crafted by Bellagio’s pastry team.
