Extreme Eating

Bigger is Better with food in Vegas

rating-systemBy Nikki Neu
When you come to the city of excess, everything is bigger—including the food.

At the Peppermill, a Vegas institution, you can order a 10-egg omelet for breakfast — and still be eating it through lunch. At Hash House A Go Go, a 15-inch pancake that comes to the table will often leave the table — in a to-go box.

These are two examples of the big portions here in Vegas, but pale in comparison to some of the items we’ve come across.

From big burritos to colossal cake, it’s all ready to be devoured here in Vegas.

The “Big Dog Daddy” burger

Weight: 4 pounds, 8 ounces.

Why it’s extreme: As part of the Bar & Grill’s 100-ounce, “Big Dog Daddy” challenge, this burger will leave you more than full. And, if you finish everything in the challenge (beer, fries and all) you get a T-shirt. This massive burger (yes, it’s actually the size of a plate) contains a two pound beef patty, 4 ounces of cheese, 4 ounces of lettuce, tomato and onion, 2 ounces of pickle and a 10-ounce bun. The burger is served with a 32-ounce beer and 16 ounces of “freedom fries.”

Hi, maybe i’m being a little off topic here, but I was browsing your site and it looks attractive. I’m authoring a blog and trying to make it look neat, but everytime I touch it I mess something up. Did you design the blog yourself? Could someone with little experience do it, and add updates without messing it up? Anyways, good information on here, very useful.
