Don’t forget about Mom!

Did you forget about Mother’s Day this Sunday? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.

Treat mama to a little something special this weekend. Go to any of the Mother’s Day events happening in Las Vegas, Saturday, 5/9 or Sunday, 5/10.

On Saturday, join chocolate guru François Payard as he hosts a cooking demonstration and Mother’s Day tea ($20 per person) at Payard Pâtisserie in Caesars Palace from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Marché Bacchus: restaurant with a view

The Patio at Marché Bacchus

Sunday, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., start with a little Latin flair at Border Grill in Mandalay Bay where a brunch buffet ($24.95 per person) of huevos rancheros, banana brioche French toast, and guava empanadas are just some of the modern Mexican favorites you’ll have to choose from. The brunch also includes free flowing Cava sparkling wine.

If you’re looking for a more relaxing brunch for mother, Marché Bacchus on the west side of Las Vegas is the perfect spot for a little wine on the water with a spectacular waterfront location on the lake. In addition to a four-course brunch ($40) served 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., you also give mom a chance to relax and enjoy the tranquil outdoor patio. If you’re closer to the east side of town Lake Las Vegas, enjoy a waterfront brunch at Loews Lake Las Vegas from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., a full brunch buffet ($55.95 per person) will be served.

If mom is adventurous and you’re on a budget, just pay for your own meal at Origin India (across from the Hard Rock Hotel) and mom eats free! For a more traditional meal, Society Cafe Encore has elegant menu options starting at 5 p.m. for dinner ($45 per person). Or, head to Delmonico’s Steakhouse where moms are the guests of honor for a three-course brunch buffet ($45 per person) offered 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

For dessert, present mom with Bouchon’s spring bonnet cake with lemon cake, blueberry compote and almond streusel. At just $5.50 for an individual size, your Christmas gift will be locked in this year.
