Steve Carell dines (and pawns) in Vegas

I guess great Steves really do dine alike.

Hollywood funny man Steve Carell took a moment out from enjoying the meat and potatoes at Charlie Palmer Steak on Friday, March 1, to say “cheese” with the restaurant’s executive chef, Steve Blandino. The fine dining establishment is located at the Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay.

When it comes to Vegas antics, March is a busy month for Carell. His film about Vegas magicians, “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone,” debuts in theaters on March 15. The film, which was partially shot in Vegas last year, also stars Steve Buscemi, Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin and James Gandolfini.

Plus, according to “Entertainment Weekly,” Carell will be seen promoting his film at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas during a stint on the History Channel’s hit reality show “Pawn Stars” on March 11.

Carell will return to Vegas for 10 days this summer to shoot the comedy film, “Mail Order Groom” with Tina Fey, according to Vance DeGeneres, who co-runs Carell’s production company, Carousel Productions.
