10 of our favorite Instagram spots in Vegas

Stop acting like you haven’t deliberately staged an Instagram shot. We all have. Whether or not you want to admit it, it doesn’t change the fact that we all cry a little inside when our favorite pics don’t get #InstaLove. There are only a handful of cities that slay social media newsfeeds the way Vegas does. So stop staging those mid-jump “I’m having the time of my life” shots, and let Sin City do the work for you. Here’s our list of favorite spots for Instagram posts in Las Vegas:

Above Las Vegas Blvd.

From Above

A Las Vegas Strip helicopter ride by Instagram user @maverickhelicopters.

Before you think I’m nuts for suggesting it, you can hop on a helicopter tour over the Las Vegas Strip for a hundo. That’s the same price you’d pay for a nice dinner with your main squeeze. There is nothing like seeing the blinking neon lights from above, so spring for a window seat on the choppa and watch your Instagram followers climb like mercury on a hot summer day.

The Palms

Say it with me, “ballin’ outta control.” ‘Cause that’s exactly what you’re going to be in the Two Story Sky Villas at the Palms. The great thing about being off the Strip is that you can see the whole – freaking – thing. Your photo of the glass infinity pool will probably break Instagram so make sure this is the grand finale of your vacation pics.

Mandarin Oriental

Mandarin Oriental

Yeah, we know what you’re going to say. Sounds expensive, right? Welp, sometimes you gotta pull your wallet out and pay for that $17 cocktail, especially because this #instapic will last forever. The Mandarin Tea Lounge and the Mandarin Bar are two places that offer sweeping views of Sin City that few people seem to check out. It’s an Instagram post that most people (let alone your friends) won’t have.

Eiffel Tower

Oh la la, zee Eiffel Tower is très sexy, non? One of the most recognizable icons on Las Vegas Boulevard, the Eiffel Tower at the Paris stands like a giant golden beacon in the night. It’s just waiting to set your profile page apart from all the other teeny tiny squares. Psshh, amateurs.

Chandelier Bar

Enough crystals to make Liberace weep, the Chandelier Bar is three floors of glittery glamoury goodness, designed to make you feel like you’re wrapped in the lap of luxury – because you are. Let’s get real with each other, you’ve probably never been to a suspended, three-story bar and neither have your friends. So grab your phone and say cheese.

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign

Welcome to Vegas

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign by Instagram user @d34n000.

Created in 1959, the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign is an iconic symbol of Sin City, making it a vacation photo must. It’s pretty much a rite of passage to have your picture taken in front of it and it attracts some pretty interesting living “props” to enhance your selfies. You’re almost guaranteed to see showgirls and Elvis while you’re there.

Fremont Street Experience

Have you ever been to one continuous party that didn’t seem to stop? That’s pretty much what you can expect from the Fremont Street Experience. Prepare yourself for a jaw-dropping experience of 12.5 million LED lamps, three concert stages, live entertainment nightly, no last calls, zip lines and damn-near naked people. Yeah, clearly you need a picture of that.

Fremont East

Once you’ve had enough of the ultimate debauchery you were obviously part of at the Fremont Street Experience (we’re not judging), walk a little farther down to Fremont East. This bar district is where a lot of locals hang out and has a vintage Vegas meets hipster vibe. It’s a super cool place that vows to stay true to the authentic side of Sin City with great street art, delicious and affordable food, craft cocktails and just plain culture.

Bellagio Fountains

Bellagio Fountains

The Bellagio Fountains by Instagram user @rosaalessandro90.

There’s no doubt our favorite photos of the Strip have the Bellagio Fountains twisting high into the sky. Why wouldn’t they? Have you ever seen 1,214 water jets pulsate 460 feet into the air to untz untz untz? Neither has anyone else, unless you’re at the Bellagio.

Foundation Room

Foundation Room

The Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay by Instagram user @faucet145.

What better way to prove you’re on top of the world than a quick snap at one of the highest clubs in Vegas? The Foundation Room, at the top of Mandalay Bay, has a sexy and mysterious vibe and is definitely a place you want to be seen. Step out onto the patio for sweeping views of the south end of the Strip.

See even more super awesome Las Vegas attractions.

Born a Buckeye - raised a Hoosier. I grew up in a one-horse town that straddles the Indiana/Ohio state line and until 2006, was in two different time zones. There were three stoplights and a whopping 48 students in my graduating class. Fast forward a few years later, I was bitten by the travel bug and decided to head west. It seems like no matter how long I live here, there’s always something that still makes my jaw drop. That’s what I love about Vegas; you never know what you’re going to see next and that’s what makes living here so much fun. Basically, if you’re bored in this town, there’s something wrong with you…not the city. I’m an avid traveler with an incurable case of wanderlust so stay tuned for all the tours, attractions and shopping adventures that Sin City has to offer.
