While we’ve been counting down all things Halloween, you may have been thinking to yourself, “That’s cute, but it’s not quite bat-mayonnaise-crazy enough for me.” Well hold your severed horse heads, because here are the places to have the biggest, wildest, most Vegas Halloween of your short life.
Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball
This is the Halloween party to end all other Halloween parties’ hopes of being THE Halloween party to end all Halloween parties. Did you follow that? We don’t care; we’re too psyched for Fetish and Fantasy! One of the top 10 events in the world according to the Travel Channel – and who knows more about insane parties than the Travel Channel – F&F has built a reputation for being so wild and crazy that they’ve had to tone it down for Las Vegas. Yeah. This is the party that’s almost too crazy for Vegas. Now you really want in, don’t you?
Full of spectacular performances, celebrity guests, a truly insane amount of booze and so many scary, sexy, spooky and sultry costumes that you might feel out of place in anything less than a whole new persona, F&F is the place to release your inner demon and let her run wild all over your body – and maybe a few other people’s too. But be sure to check out the event’s website for details on the dress code. The organizers may be delightfully crazy, but the city has laws to enforce. So no nudity, weapons (real or fake) or “realistic looking rubber or other artificial genitalia (inflatables and other obviously non-real is acceptable)” will be allowed. But don’t worry, those minor restrictions just mean you get to be more creative while you’re designing your tastefully teasing ensemble.
Crazy Horse III – Ghouls Gone Wild
It won’t come a surprise that the Las Vegas strip clubs (those would be the ones with the nakedness, not the ones on the Las Vegas Strip) host some of the naughtiest Halloween parties in town. And this year, Crazy Horse III is scaring its dancers’ tops off with Ghouls Gone Wild. As if that prospect weren’t enough to get your blood flowing, this year the club is pulling off a few other articles of clothing – from the male guests, we hope.
The costume contest will search for the man in Vegas with the sexist costume. The winner will receive $1,000 in Diamond Dollars to be used at the club, but will also earn the title of “Best Vegas Guy” for the night. So show up and show off. Those ladies on stage put in a hard night’s work. They deserve some Halloween eye candy too.
Artisan Hotel Boutique – Three nights of fun
If you’re not familiar with Artisan Hotel Boutique, it’s that super sexy off-Strip hotel that many locals would rather keep all to ourselves. But this Halloween weekend, it’s also the place where you can party your heart, lungs and maybe even brain out in true Vegas style. Beginning on Oct. 30, Artisan is home to the Circus Freak Sleepover taking over the entire hotel, hosting a costume contest for $1,500 in prizes and setting you up for the craziest weekend of your life.
On Halloween night, the party continues with Hotel of 1000 Corpses Halloween Party with half priced drinks from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. and special guest DJs. Then, assuming you’re just the right amount of zombified from the other events, keep on partying right through to Nov. 1’s Day of the Dead celebration featuring face painting, go-gos, DJs and much more.
Because Artisan Hotel and Artisan Boutique Ultra Lounge are open 24 hours, you could conceivably keep going for three solid days with only a few black cat naps in your hotel room (or someone else’s) to sustain you. All events at Artisan are free for locals and ladies, and out-of-town men get in for just $10.
Tao Nightclub – Snoopadelic Cabaret
What do you get when you combine Halloween, the Roaring ‘20s and Snoop Dogg? We didn’t know either, but we’re stoned just thinking about it. Thankfully, Tao Nightclub figured it out and put it all together for The Snoopadelic Cabaret, a party unlike anything else happening in Vegas. The club will transform into a speakeasy experience with a DJ set and special performance by the one and only Snoop Dogg – because who speaks easier than Snoop?
Hyde in the Dark
Don’t be confused by the name, Hyde Bellagio is not the place to slink away into the shadows and wait out the Halloween holiday. This is the party to stand up and embrace the insanity where everyone can see you. Sip a few Spellbinders, Hyde’s signature fall cocktail, take part in the Halloween Masquerade on Oct. 30 and get ready for a truly unique Halloween experience as singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha performs and parties all Halloween night at Hyde in the Dark. With everything happening at Hyde over the Halloween weekend, the only thing you’ll want to hide from is your hangover.
In this town, the easiest way to have a crazy night is to go outside. But if you’re one of those people for whom crazy isn’t enough, shop around. Search the deepest, darkest parts of your soul and ask yourself, “Can I really handle Vegas in all its gory glory?” If you believe you can, then join these crazy Vegas parties. And if you can’t, well, there’s always museums and stuff.
