Pamper yourself poolside or get your party on, this weekend in Vegas is all about making a splash. Caesars Palace, the Rio and Flamingo add to the pool-life scene by offering poolside massages and other spa treatments for the utmost in luxury and relaxation under the sun. Revelers who want to party poolside after the sun sets are in luck this weekend as the Palms hosts their annual “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” lingerie masquerade party on Aug. 13 at the Palms Pool and Bungalows. When it comes to entertainment, there are more options to get your groove on poolside with the Gipsy Kings performing Aug. 12 as part of the poolside Friday night concert series at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa. Guests can also jam with their toes in the sand and under the stars with the Lost ’80s Live featuring: A Flock of Seagulls, The Motels, Berlin, Clive Farrington & Andrew Mann Formerly of When In Rome, Tommy Tutone, Animotion and Boys Don’t Cry at 9 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the Mandalay Bay pool.

Dining, Drinks
August is National Catfish month y’all, and PBR Rock Bar & Grill at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is giving fried fish lovers something to celebrate. Throughout August PBR Rock Bar is offering its crispy catfish nuggets for only $5.

Cabo Wabo Cantina at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is offering guests three T’s during the month of August. Patrons can enjoy a shot of Cabo Wabo tequila, a Tecate beer and a taco for $20.

In honor of its 70th anniversary, the El Cortez Hotel & Casino is celebrating its storied past by offering vintage dining and cocktail menus that were once the premier options offered at some of the city’s top restaurants from the past, including dishes from the Sultan’s Table at the Dunes, Delmonico’s at the Riviera, The House of Lords at the Sahara, La Vie en Rose at the Desert Inn and Saver Room at the Aladdin. The vintage menu is being offered at The Flame Steakhouse. The cocktail menu is being offered at all casino bars and includes classic drinks including the sidecar, mint julep, blood and sand and aviation. Guests in the mood for a martini can enjoy the daily two-for-one martini happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. at all casino bars.

Nightlife
DJ Zen Freeman and DJ M!KEATTACK get the party started on the dance floor for Perfecto, the weekly party every Saturday night at Rain at the Palms. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Guests can party to the sounds of producer Randy Jackson’s new music group DaCaV5 as they perform their hit songs “Tetris” and “Dirty Style” at Blush at Wynn. Doors open at 9 p.m.

Tinie Tempah hosts Worship Thursdays, the weekly party at TAO at Venetian. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Palms ups the nightlife ante this weekend by hosting “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” a lingerie masquerade party at 9 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the Palms Pool and Bungalows. This year’s theme encompasses pixies, fairies and any other whimsical woodland characters covered in glitter. A costume or mask is required for entry

Poolside Pampering
Caesars Palace, the Rio and the Flamingo are letting guests soak up some rays and relax under the sun by offering refreshing spa services poolside. At Caesars Palace guests can choose from various spa treatments offered by Qua Baths & Spa’s Garden of the Gods poolside menu. Poolside treatments are done in a private cabana located next to the intimate Jupiter Pool. At VooDoo Beach at the Rio guests can indulge in something as simple as a luxurious foot massage while sitting poolside or experience a spa treatment like a full-body Swedish massage in a poolside chaise lounge. The pool also offers a romantic couple’s massage in a private cabana. At the Flamingo’s GO Pool, guests can enjoy various treatments options including a classic pool massage or the Chill Out Massage featuring cooling gels to dissolve aches and pains and beat the summer heat.

Cirque du Soleil’s “KÀ” tells a thrilling adventure story about Imperial Twins who are separated by an attack on their Far Eastern palace and overcome adversity to be reunited. One of the most spectacular elements in the show is its ever-evolving stage that transforms into a floating barge, a beach and a snowy mountaintop, among other varied landscapes. Wisecracking funny man Gilbert Gottfried brings his gut-busting laughs to audiences in Vegas at his 10 p.m. show on Aug. 11 – 14 at the Las Vegas Hilton.

The Gipsy Kings delight audiences poolside with their flamenco-style melodies at their 9 p.m. show on Aug. 12 at Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa.

World-renowned magician David Copperfield amazes audiences with his larger-than-life illusions in his show at 7:30 and 10 p.m. nightly; plus 4:30 p.m. Sat. on Aug. 11 – 24 at the MGM Grand.

Multitalented entertainer George Lopez makes audiences laugh with his no-holds-barred stand-up comedy routine at his 10 p.m. show on Aug. 12 – 13 at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Legendary blues guitarist and singer B.B. King performs his greatest hit songs at his 8 p.m. show on Aug. 13 at Green Valley Ranch, Resort & Spa.
