It may be the week before St. Paddy’s Day, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with celebrating early. This weekend, Las Vegas features tons of hot comedy stars, world-famous musicians, drink specials and even pampering treatments for your pooch.

Shows

Springtime is fast approaching, so what better time to warm your hearts with loads of laughter? This weekend is going to be a ton of fun with a bunch of comedic acts.

See Mac King's afternoon show at Harrah's.

If you like the idea of comedy combined with magic, make sure to catch the Mac King Comedy Show, playing Tuesday through Saturday at Harrah’s. Show times are at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. 

“Mad TV” alum Bobby Lee tickles your funny bone at the Playboy Comedy Club inside the Palms, March 10-12. 

See “Home Improvement” star Tim Allen performing inside the Venetian, March 11 – 12 at 9 p.m. Also appearing in town March 11 – 12, comedian/actress Wanda Sykes performs at the Mirage at 10 p.m.

If you’re a longtime fan of E! network’s “Talk Soup” or the hit Showtime series, “Queer As Folk,” then actor/comedian Hal Sparks is definitely a familiar face. See Sparks now through March 13 at the Las Vegas Hilton. Show begins at 10 p.m. 

Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club features Butch Bradley and Jeff Altman now through Sunday, March 13 inside the Tropicana. Show times are at 8 p.m., with an additional 10 p.m. show on Friday and Saturday.

While rap artist Afroman might not be deemed as a comedian, his hit song, “Because I Got High” placed as one of the funniest and most popular videos online in 2000. See the Grammy-nominated entertainer sing his hit single for “Monday Night Rocks” inside Rio’s Crown Nightclub on Monday, March 14.

Celine Dion returns to Caesars Palace.

Fans of Celine, rejoice! Celine Dion returns to Caesars Palace starting Wednesday, March 15. Show times are 7 p.m., daily (dark on Monday).

Catch rap act Rick Ross “Hustlin’” this Thursday, March 10 inside the Pearl. Located at the Palms, show begins at 9 p.m.

Come watch the Battle of the Bands 2011 with Jack & The B Fish, MP&Co., Otherwise and Red Abbey inside Hard Rock Café, located on the Las Vegas Strip. The bands start rocking the house at 8 p.m.

Keep on rocking with a performance by Envy Showcase at Mandalay Bay’s House of Blues on Saturday, March 12.

Groove to the sounds of Grammy-award winning rap arist Cee Lo Green, Saturday March 12 at Luxor. Grammy-award winning pop band The Tings Tings joins Cee Lo for this special concert.

Do you believe in love? We know a group who does. See ’80s sensation Huey Lewis and the News sing their chart-topping hits at Green Valley Ranch on Saturday, March 12 at 8 p.m.

He’ll be right here waiting for you. Singer/songwriter Richard Marx performs at The Orleans this Saturday and Sunday, March 12-13. Show begins at 8 p.m. 

College basketball fans are in luck. Celebrate March Madness by watching all your favorite games at one of the many hotel sports books located on the Strip.

Watch DJ Mom Jeans (a.k.a. Danny Masterson) spin at Lavo this Friday.

Spring is in the air, so you know Las Vegas nightlife is about to heat up. Start your wild and crazy night a little earlier than usual with patio parties at Imperial Palace’s Rockhouse.
