Developers are looking to crowdfunding to support their efforts to bring back a beloved downtown Vegas music venue

The Huntridge Revival team has released plans for a food and beverage outlet, a music education facility and a fully restored arts venue. Initial estimates say the project could cost upwards of $12 million, but the initial fundraising goal is $150,000.

The renovation is spearheaded by three giants of Downtown vision: Life is Beautiful festival founder Rehan Choudhry, First Friday Las Vegas managing partner Joey Vanas and Michael Cornthwaite, a champion of Las Vegas’ downtown revitalization.

The three are turning to Vegas locals to finance the first leg of the project.

“We’ve received a ton of excitement and momentum, but we’ve reached a point where we need this additional start-up capital required to move forward,” Vanas said. “Without local community buy-in it just won’t happen.”
