While the chilly months are fast approaching, the fall season’s spa specials make them more welcoming. Plus, I can enjoy wearing all the fun winter layers.
The smell of pumpkin, hot spiced rum and anything festive for the upcoming holiday season really excites me. For the next couple of months, there are plenty of spa specials available on the Strip.
“Las Vegas is a non-stop city with so much to see and do — even in the autumn months,” said Blake Feeney, spa director at Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian and Palazzo. “A [spa] break can do a lot to refresh the mind and body.”
The Hot-Spiced Rum Stone Massage inside Bathhouse at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay combines warm stones and essential oils of cinnamon, clove and arnica. Services are available in 25, 50 or 80-minute treatments. Prices start at $95.
Spa Mandalay at Mandalay Bay offers the aromatic Chai Soy Mud Mask treatment. The service starts with a spicy, aromatic herbal scrub. Next, you’ll be covered in a Chai Soy Mud Mask, which is rich with minerals, soy, protein and spices to detoxify and revitalize. Once your mask is removed, your therapist will slather lotion all over your body.
Nurture, the Spa at Luxor, offers Autumn Harvest Spa Specials from Sept. 23 – Dec. 20. For $180, guests can enjoy a package including a rejuvenating Swedish massage with a pumpkin spice body scrub and facial. Each service is 25 minutes long. Guests may choose to buy these services à la carte for $70.
The Spa at New York – New York jumps into fall season with its Tranquil Harvest Massage, a soothing Swedish massage with the sweet scent of pumpkin. This treatment is available in 25, 50, or 75-minute services. Prices start at $60. Or, relax in the Autumn Evening Soak and Glow. Sit in a luxurious pumpkin spice-scented bath while experiencing a mini facial. The 45-minute service is $90. If your hands and feet need pampering, the Harvest Moon Mani-Pedi includes a sweet pumpkin aromatherapy soak, followed by an application of hydrating sweet pumpkin lotion. This 50-minute service is $75.
Or, you can have a Mini Harvest Package, which includes an “express” version of all the fall services: a 25-minute Tranquil Harvest Massage, a 30-minute Autumn Evening Hydro Soak and a 25-minute Harvest Moon Pumpkin Pedicure ($150).
The Spa at Aria offers its 5 Diamond Gemstone Facial, featuring a relaxing hand and face massage with the cool sensation of gemstones. A thermal lift mask with micronized diamond dust leaves the skin firm and luminous. The service ends with a paraffin hand and foot treatment. This 50-minute service is $195.
Spa & Salon Vdara features its Naturopathica Pumpkin Herbal Enzyme Facial, a gentle treatment using pumpkin enzymes to the clear the skin of any cellular build-up that may block pores. Perfect for a fall season pick-me-up, this purifying treatment is fortified with beta carotene to help slow down environmental damage to the skin, leaving the skin radiant. This treatment is available for 50, 80 or 110 minutes ($135, $185 or $235).
Through Nov. 30 at Spa Bellagio, The Me! Bath Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream Pedicure is sure to get you in the autumn spirit. It begins with a scrumptious foot soak in a Me! Bath Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream. The ice cream includes a blend of essential oils, minerals and fragrances which soften the feet. After the soak, you’ll experience a cleansing and exfoliation with the Me! Bath Vanilla Purity Shower Sherbet, leaving the skin silky smooth. The service continues with a Creamy Caramel Mask that stimulates and firms the skin. The treatment ends with a massage application of Me! Bath Body Icing in Vanilla Purity lotion. If you think this treatment couldn’t get any sweeter, you’ll get to sip on a delicious Pumpkin Pie Latte, compliments of the spa. The luxurious 75-minute service is $115.
Banish the effects of the summer sun at Canyon Ranch SpaClub with the luscious Orange Blossom Silky Smooth Scrub. The service starts with a sugar scrub to gently remove dead skin cells. Next, relax in a hydro tub to relieve any tension. Finally, revive the skin with a moisturizing body butter made from exotic nut oils, passionflower and fresh coconut milk. This treatment is $175 Tuesday through Thursday and $185 for Friday through Monday appointments.
Or, awaken the senses with an uplifting aromatic full-body Sweet Autumn massage. This massage includes certified-organic soybean oil infused with the fresh scent of cucumber and mint. You’ll even get to take home the rest of the massage oil from your treatment. This treatment is $155 for Tuesday through Thursday appointments and $165 for Friday through Monday appointments.
The spa’s Best Fall Facial restores the skin from the effects of summer, all while incorporating the familiar scents of fall. The facial includes cleansing, exfoliation, steam, extractions, toning and a collagen veil masque. Treatment is $160 Tuesday through Thursday and $170 Friday through Monday.
