Cirque du Soleil cast and crew are once again showcasing their off-stage creativity in the annual “Parade: The Collective” art exhibition at the Trifecta Gallery inside the Arts Factory in downtown Las Vegas.

The exhibition is an eclectic display of paintings, photography, sculpture and mixed media created by nearly two dozen performers, stagehands and support staff of the eight Cirque du Soleil productions on the Las Vegas Strip. Cirque created the art program to encourage its employees to pursue outside artistic projects.

The ninth annual “Parade: The Collective” runs Jan. 3 – 30, 2014, at the Trifecta Gallery, 107 E. Charleston Blvd.

An exhibition preview party is scheduled for Jan. 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. On Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. during the exhibit, the gallery is scheduled to host “Late til 8,” a series featuring Cirque artists discussing their work, art and community.

Topics include community outreach programs, artists with jobs outside the studio, original music performed by Cirque musicians and artists whose occupations inform their studio practice.

The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Wednesday and Friday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m Thursday; and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday – Sunday. For more information, call 702-366-7001 or visit the gallery’s website.
