Five-time Grammy nominee Kid Rock will take a short hiatus from his summer tour to headline The D Las Vegas‘ anniversary celebration in September.

The D in downtown Vegas will celebrate its first birthday with a three-concert series at the Third Street Stage.

Country rocker Uncle Kracker, who recorded hits like “Smile” and “Follow Me” will showcase his most recent album, “Midnight Special,” on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Chester Bennington of Linkin Park fame will join Stone Temple Pilots in a show Friday, Sept. 27. The quartet will perform its new song, “Out of Time,” with Bennington as well as fan favorites like “Interstate Love Song” and “Plush.”

Kid Rock will perform Saturday, Sept. 28.

“We’re all excited to celebrate The D’s first year in downtown Las Vegas and share the celebration with the rest of the Fremont Street Experience,” owner and CEO Derek Stevens said in a statement.

The hotel-casino welcomes guests with a taste for vintage Vegas, with a throwback casino on the second floor. Longbar inside The D is the longest bar in Nevada and home to flair bartenders that throw bottles and glasses through the air. And Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse puts The D dining on the map with top-notch cuisine.

The renovated space includes 638 contemporary remodeled rooms and suites.
