Yes, Vegas can be a lot of fun. But more often than not, it’s gonna cost you. So, if you ever find yourself running low on money, here are some lounges where you can listen to live music for free! Most of these gigs are Friday through Sunday.

If you are into ’60s music, head to the Casbah at the Sahara to listen to Sixtiesmania. Up the street is the Stratosphere, where you can hear music from the ’80s and ’90s at Images. Both places have large dance areas. For country rock and karaoke, head to Bill’s Gambling Hall.

Other places on the Strip with pop bands are JPop at Mandalay Bay, House of Blues at Mandalay (on Thursdays), Celebration at Tropicana, Indigo at Bally’s, and Le Cabaret at Paris. If you venture away from the Strip, go to Marilyn’s at the Eastside Cannery and Ravello at the M Resort.

For something quieter and laid back, there’s a jazz duo in  Galleria at Caesars Palace, and a pianist at Rush Lounge in the Golden Nugget.
