Best known for his role as detective James Carter in the “Rush Hour” movies, Tucker made his silver screen debut in “House Party 3” in 1994. But even before he had crowds cheering in the theater, his bold humor made him a favorite on “Def Comedy Jam,” where he performed throughout the ’90s.
Most recently, Tucker played Danny opposite Bradley Cooper’s Pat Soltiano Jr. in the Academy Awards 2013 Best Picture nominee “Silver Linings Playbook.” He was among the winners of the broadcast Film Critics Association 2012 award for Best Cast.
In 2006, while he worked on “Rush Hour 3,” Tucker was the highest-paid actor in Hollywood. You can get a taste of his superstar quality live in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. on May 26. Tickets start at $49 plus taxes and fees.
