CeeLo to arrive in style at Planet Hollywood Thursday night – Delayed

Update 2/21/20- 1:21 p.m.: Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino headliner CeeLo Green’s appearance today has been cancelled. A new date for the ceremony is being scheduled.

Tourists can expect to get an eyeful when CeeLo Green kicks off his new show at Planet Hollywood with a splashy media entrance on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m.

Following in the steps of Shania Twain, who kicked off her residency at Caesars Palace with horseback ride down the Las Vegas Strip, CeeLo is expected arrive in style to promote his show “CeeLo Green Is Loberace.”

No word on exactly how CeeLo will make his entrance (it will take place on the front steps of Planet Hollywood), but if previous appearances are any indication – sequins, showgirls and plenty of spotlights can be expected.

CeeLo’s show opens Feb. 27. He will perform Wednesday – Friday at 11 p.m. and Saturday at 11:59 p.m. on select dates in March and April. Tickets are available from $59.95.

More spectacle than show, the production will combine CeeLo’s flamboyant sense of style and creativity with his unique voice. He will perform covers of his favorite music (including Rod Stewart, INXS and The Temptations)  along with his original songs.  In true Vegas fashion the show will also features magic, sexy showgirls, extravagant costumes and impressive stage design.
