Las Vegas is known around the world for its nightlife, which of course includes plenty of nightclubs and bars geared at the LGBT community. We’ve rounded up some of the best and those closest to (or on) the Las Vegas Strip, but of course, be sure to check out our full listing of Vegas gay clubs and bars!
Closet Sundays at the Mirage’s Revolution Lounge bills itself as having “the most fabulous entertainment imaginable!” Every Sunday night, Revolution guests can enjoy $5 drinks and DJ Brett Rubin on the turntables . The ultra-cool bar/lounge/club hybrid combines Cirque du Soleil sensibilities with Beatles lore and Light Group’s nightlife experience.
Though these venues are attached, each one is a distinct experience. 8 ½ Ultra Lounge offers a more laid back setting with a pool table, dance floor, stage and retro arcade games. Piranha, on the other hand, is more of a high-energy venue with thumping DJ music, a VIP section, bottle service and private skyboxes. Both venues regularly feature live entertainment, theme nights and killer drink specials.
Located just off the Las Vegas Strip on Wynn Road, Share is the newest gay nightclub in Las Vegas. Combining club, bar and ultra lounge experiences across two floors, the club features a modern and hip nightclub ambiance on the first floor, with a more luxurious and private lounge and bar vibe on the second floor. Private VIP rooms are available and there’s no cover if you text “ishare” to 313131.
Luxor’s Temptation Sundays kick off on May 20. The LGBT pool party invites all guests to give in to temptation with theme days, drink specials, and great music. Temptation Sundays is described as “for an alternative crowd but welcomes everyone looking for a great day at the pool with fun people and groovy tunes.” The Temptations pool party is every Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m.
“The only alternative club on the Strip,” Krave is located adjacent to Planet Hollywood and the Miracle Mile Shops. Krave offers a diverse and inclusive atmosphere, world-class nightlife and VIP bottle service. For music lovers, Krave is also home to 2012 “Las Vegas’ Best DJ” winner Michael Graves, who spins a combination of house and electro that gets crowds dancing. The 17,000-square-foot venue regularly appears in national top nightclub lists.
