Alright, boys and ghouls: We’ve rounded up the top nightlife events for Halloween 2012 for you and it is, without a doubt, going to be one of the best weekends to party in Las Vegas this year.
Edgy names and abundance of the word “spooktacular” aside, none of these will be too scary, but they’re sure to be a helluva good time. Which ones will you be hitting up?
Surrender Nightclub at Encore has a full slate of EDM talent on deck, starting off Thursday, Oct. 25 with R3hab and $10,000 in cash and prizes. On Friday, Surrender presents Haunted Aoki’s House with Steve Aoki and Deniz Koyu. Saturday night, Dada Life brings on Haunted Dada Land and finally, on Halloween night, Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello will get the crowd moving.
Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas kicks things off on Monday, Oct. 29 with a Halloween edition of Party Rock Mondays with Redfoo and special guest Chuckie. On Halloween night, Kaskade takes the DJ booth.
Redfoo of LMFAO and the Party Rock Crew invade Tao at the Venetian on Saturday, Oct. 27, while Lavo at the Palazzo gets rowdy with the official Maxim Halloween Party hosted by Kid Rock. Maxim will be awarding a $1,000 cash prize to the “Sexiest Little Devil,” along with a signed Kid Rock guitar, a year of Maxim Magazine and a photo featured on Maxim.com.
Tryst at the Wynn kicks off Halloween weekend on Thursday, Oct. 25, with The Affair featuring Afrojack and Kris Nilsson. On Friday, DJ Spider and Derrick Anthony spin. On Saturday, Derrick Anthony and Dave Fogg provide the music and finally, on Wednesday, Oct. 31, Avicii plays.
T-Pain hosts Haze on Saturday, Oct. 27 with an exclusive DJ set that is sure to be unforgettable.
XS at Encore starts things on Friday, Oct. 26 with Sultan & Ned Shepard and an opening set by Warren Peace. On Saturday, Steve Angello and Kris Nilsson hit the DJ booth, while Monday sees Afrojack spinning. Finally, deadmau5 takes the reins on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
1 OAK’s “American Psycho Halloween Party” will be hosted by reality TV star Scott Disick, with sounds by DJ IKON and DJ Que.
Pure at Caesars Palace kicks off the party on Saturday, Oct. 27 with the “Heaven and Hell Halloween” event complete with a costume contest. Five ladies will have the opportunity to be crowned for the Sexiest Costume and take home $30,000 in total cash prizes as they party into the early hours of the morning.
On Oct. 30, the party continues at Pure with Sky Blu of LMFAO fame and his special Halloween edition of “Who Came To Party!?” featuring a Superheroes and Villains theme. The energetic artist and performance DJ, along with his Big Bad crew, take over the main stage and one lucky guest will have the chance to take home $10,000 in cash prizes for Best Costume of the evening.
‘Arrrrrrr’ you dressing like a pirate this Halloween? Well, walk the plank over to Tabú, where they’re celebrating Halloween on Oct. 26 – 29 with “Rum N Bones.”
The boutique nightclub at MGM Grand will keep the Captain Morgan cocktail specials a-flowin’, with DJ Eric Forbes kicking off the tunes on Friday, Oct. 26 and DJ Kid Jay taking over the turntables Saturday night.
DJ Dezie steps in the DJ booth on Sunday, with a special appearance by Captain Morgan and The Morganettes There will be $10,000 in cash and prizes for guests sporting the best costumes.
JWoww of “Jersey Shore” hosts a Halloween bash at Chateau Nightclub and Garden on Saturday, Oct. 27. This will be the reality TV star’s second Halloween appearance at Chateau, and her costume last year was a hit.
The various nightlife venues at the Palms are packed with Halloween parties.
Moon Nightclub gets the ball rolling on Friday, Oct. 26 with DJ M!KEATTACK. Costumed clubgoers can compete for the Best Overall Costume with first place taking home $5,000 and second place $1,500. Doors open at 11 p.m.
The high-energy ghostbar dayclub hosts its Halloween bash with piñata smashing, high-end beer bongs, champagne showers, bubble machines, confetti guns, delicious eats, beats from DJ duo Sex Panther and a playful costume contest. The Sexiest Costume will be awarded $2,500. Doors open at 1 p.m. and ladies enter for free.
Rain Nightclub kicks off the Night of the Killer Costumes on Saturday as well, with beats by DJ Zen Freeman and a costume contest. The Best Overall Costume will win $10,000 and the Sexiest Costume wins $5,000. Doors open at 10 p.m.
On Sunday, ghostbar goes Haunted ‘House’ with beats from DJ Kevin Brown and DJ Casanova. Best Overall Costume takes home $1,000 with second place taking $500. Doors open at 8 p.m.
Moon Nightclub’s Fancy Sauce night visits the “Dark Side of the Moon” on Tuesday, Oct. 30, with confetti, lights and visual effects. DJ Alie Layus and Kid Conrad provide the audio backdrop and the costume contest will award $5,000 to the Best Overall Costume and $1,500 to second place. Doors open at 11 p.m.
miX Lounge on the 64th floor of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay celebrates Halloween on Friday, Oct. 26 with the Bacardi “Howl-O-Ween” Bash. Guests are encouraged to dress as bats and werewolves, with the best costumes being awarded special prizes. The 2nd and 3rd place costumes will win prizes featuring Bacardi gift bags while a special Mandalay Bay prize package will be awarded to the grand prize winner.
The long-awaited Bagatelle Beach & Supper Club finally opens to the public with a Halloween “Night of Masks” sneak preview on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Starting at 5p.m., the new supper club welcomes its guests with entertainment and sets the backdrop for a deliciously distinct dinner. Guests are invited to don their sexiest costumes for a chic and festive Halloween celebration. As the lights go down and the music goes up, revelers will be treated to a night of surprises. The sneak-peek period continues through Nov. 1, with regular dinner reservations through the grand opening party on Nov. 16. Dinner reservations can be made by calling (702) 701-0200.
Hyde Bellagio is throwing two parties for this most ghoulish of holidays:
Hyde Bellagio and Dom Perignon present a masquerade party on Saturday, Oct. 27 with celebrity guest Stacy Keibler. The venue will be transformed into a moonlit villa, while guests are invited to “hyde” behind their favorite masquerade masks. The evening will also feature Halloween-inspired live presentations from Cirque du Soleil performance artists and other surprises, including giveaways throughout the night. DJs Jace One and Konflikt bring tunes throughout the night.
On Tuesday, Oct. 30, Hyde’s Lost Angels party at Hyde gets a dose of Halloween terror, as the night will be haunted by the scary performers of Eli Roth’s Goretorium. EC Twins spin, as Goretorium actors dressed in costume fill the club.
Posh, the hot after-hours party spot on Russell Road will treat Halloween partygoers in costume to buy one, get one drinks on Friday, Oct. 26, Saturday, Oct. 27, Sunday, Oct. 28, and Wednesday, Oct. 31. The club’s go-go dancers will be showing their Halloween spirit, while DJs Sincere, Myk, Joey Mazzola and 5150 spin into the early morning hours.
In the same Playground complex as Posh, Crazy Horse III gentlemen’s club celebrates with two Ghouls Gone Wild parties on Saturday, Oct. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 31. You can participate in the costume contests, which are offering $1,000 in cash and prizes to the best costume on both nights. Don’t worry: You might be all dressed up for the occasion, but the hundreds of beautiful women will still be undressing.
Insert Coin(s) in Downtown Las Vegas is hosting a Thriller-themed Halloween party and costume contest on Monday, Oct. 29, a video-game-themed costume contest on Tuesday, Oct. 30 and a final costume contest on Halloween night. An assortment of cash and prizes go to the winners, with some of Vegas’ best DJ talent spinning each night.
PBR Rock Bar inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will celebrate Halloween with a “Haunted Hoe-down,” featuring costume contests and prizes on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Guests are invited to take part in a costume bull riding competition at 9 p.m. The top three winners with the best costumes will be awarded open bar tabs for $200, $100 and $50, respectively.
There will also be a costume contest starting at midnight, when the one man and one woman with the best costume each win a complimentary bottle of their choice.
The Bourbon Room at the Venetian is putt on its Halloween Bourbon Bash, inspired by the hair bands of the era on Saturday, Oct. 27. VJs will get the party started with classic rock hits and music videos, while cocktail servers perform dance routines to vintage tracks from AC/DC, Poison and more.
The evening will feature an ’80s-themed costume party with festive party favors and every guest in ’80s attire will receive a complimentary shot on arrival. Admission is complimentary and special wristbands are also available for $35 and include unlimited well drinks, house wine and domestic beer, from 8 – 10 p.m.
On Saturday, Oct. 27, Rí Rá Las Vegas will host a Pink Halloween Party to raise funds for the Southern Nevada Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. From 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., the pub will celebrate Halloween with a pink-themed soiree. Guests can dress in their best pink costume or dress and may purchase $10 pink boas throughout the evening. Rí Rá will feature a specialty cocktail, the Pink Jameson Rose, all day long and various prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed partiers.
Señor Frog’s Las Vegas at Treasure Island will host three nights of spooky celebration on Friday, Oct. 26, Saturday, Oct. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 31. The party destination will be transformed for its “Heaven and Hell” fiesta, with the upstairs decorated as a Heaven wonderland, while the downstairs acts as a naughty Hell-themed playground.
Drink specials include the Heaven and Hell Daiquiri, a strawberry daiquiri and angelic white piña colada combo priced at $24 per yard and the Ghostlager shot, made with Goldschlager, Jagermeister and Sambuca, priced at $10. DJ Styles, DJ Josh Bliss, DJ Kram and the Illuzion band provide the music, while more than $5,000 will be given away in prizes during nightly costume contests.
Cabo Wabo Cantina at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood will offer $4 well drinks to dressed up guests from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. as part of an extended “Happy Halloween Hour.” Don’t forget to try some yummy Tex-Mex fare.
