Vegas, we’ve got a Situation … and a Pauly D, Ronnie and JWoww.
That’s right, another big holiday weekend in Vegas means another Jersey Shore takeover of Sin City. The premiere of the second season of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” is right around the corner and whether you love them or hate them they are going to be here in full force for the Fourth of July weekend.
The fist pumps start Friday when Ronnie makes another appearance at JET at the Mirage, the same spot he hit for Memorial Day weekend.
As anyone with a pulse knows by now, Pauly D has gone from filling up basement clubs in Rhode Island to a residency at the Palms’ Ditch Fridays. The blowout king will celebrate his birthday at a very patriotic sounding “Red, White and Pauly” event at the Palms Pool on Saturday. Adding to the situation (pun seriously intended), ladies will receive free admission.
Ladies, you can even touch up that tan beforehand at Sunset Tan inside the Palms in a tanning bed recently named for Pauly D. Just ask for the GTL package, but you can leave your laundry at home this GTL stands for Gym, Tan, Liquor.
If you were a fan of JWoww’s style during the first season of the show (you’ve probably packed something similar in your suitcase for this weekend) you’ll be glad to hear you can now wear her clothes. Jenni Farley, as she was known before the Shore, will host a private fashion event at ghostbar inside the Palms to unveil her new clothing line “Filthy Couture.” Don’t be too sad though if you didn’t get the invite, she will also host an after-party at Moon.
Pauly D’s partner in creeping, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is throwing his own birthday bash at Rehab at the Hard Rock on Sunday. If you can’t get enough of “The Situation,” stop by the Sugar Factory inside the Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood at 3 p.m. Saturday where he will make an appearance and sample some of the inventory.
Missing from all the action is Snooki, who at least won’t have to worry about getting punched, Vinny and the everlasting drama that Sammi brought along with Ronnie. Considering the situations (that’s the last one, we promise) the cast got into on the Jersey Shore, imagine what’s in store for them in Vegas.
