The Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas will open its $150 million Rush Tower in November 2009, adding almost 500 new rooms (as seen in the photo above) to the site.

The Rush Tower will also introduce the Chart House Aquarium restaurant, offering a signature menu and a 50,000-gallon tropical aquarium.

The landscaped entrance to the Rush Tower, at First and Carson streets, will have a luxurious reservation desk, porte cochere and a valet.

Other additions include: A private swimming pool with six cabanas, which will adjoin the third floor of the Tank pool at Golden Nugget; additional table games and slots and three new retail venues.
