Thrill seekers will soon have another reason to come to Vegas. By the end of summer, you should be able to soar 400 feet in the air on a 10-second zip ride (not to be confused with a zip line) between the Rio hotel’s 50-story Masquerade tower and Ipanema tower.

VooDoo Zip Line will launch from Voodoo Lounge, offering 360-degree open-air views  of the Vegas valley while accommodating two riders round-trip. The ride, which is reminiscent of a ski lift, will travel both forward and backwards nearly one-third of a mile at 33 miles per hour.

VooDoo Zip Line is slated to debut at the Rio hotel in late summer 2013 and will be open seven days a week from noon to midnight.
