Las Vegas’ culinary event of the year is taking place right now!
Post dinner service, celebrity Chef’s Bobby Flay, Rick Moonen and “Iron Chef” rivals Cat Cora and Kerry Simon were all in attendance on the PURE balcony at Caesars Palace, sipping on wine and snacking on hors d’oeuvres like salmon nigiri with crème fraîche wasabi. “Bon Appétit’s” Editor in Chief Barbara Fairchild (who has become somewhat of a celebrity herself in the foodie world) was also in attendance.
Upon arrival, Flay quickly made his way to the back of a cabana where he chatted up food writer Andrew Knowlton and two (very) blonde female guests. Other chefs like Simon and Moonen strolled among the rest of the guests talking about food, fun and the beautiful view of the Las Vegas Strip.
The late-night event benefitted Three Square, Southern Nevada’s food bank dedicated to providing meals to those in need.
Uncork’d is taking place this weekend, May 7 – 10, with events happening around the clock. Next stop: The Grand Tasting, Friday from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. taking place on the Caesars pool deck, with an incredible showing of Las Vegas’ best and brightest chefs.
