If you thought you had a lot to eat on your trip to Vegas, just wait until the World Food Championships comes to Sin City.

The WFC is hosting a four-day food festival and cooking competition at Bally’s, with extra events at Paris Las Vegas and Caesars Palace from Nov. 1 through 4. Food champions from across the United States will come to the city to compete for the glory and cash prizes — fitting for a city that is home to dozens of all-you-can-eat buffets and a buffet-of-buffets.

Adam Richman, the host of “Man vs Food” will be hosting this event, which has total prize pot of $300,000 spread among seven categories: Chili, Burger, Sandwich, Champion’s Challenge, Side Dish and Chef’s Challenge.

The initial challenges will be at Bally’s on Nov. 2 and 3, with the Final Table challenge taking place in front of Caesars Palace on Nov. 4, in front of a panel of culinary celebrity judges.

“The World Food Championships is unlike any culinary event Las Vegas has ever seen and we feel that Bally’s Las Vegas is the ideal location,” said Mike McCloud, president of Trybe Targeting, the company producing the four-day event. “WFC is the ultimate food showdown, and in a city known for world-class food and entertainment, there is no better place to host this event.”
